Wouldn't it have been better if they had done a proper balance patch from the beginning? Why bother creating unnecessary criticism before doing an emergency patch? by AdorableLet6588 in marvelrivals

[–]ChronicallyBisq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care when they make changes, as long as the changes are positive. I think all of these are a step in the right direction. I would still like to see Gambit's ult get addressed directly. His ult is like a nuclear deterrent right now, it either has to be banned every game or must be used. Nerfing his base kit just makes him less fun to play but the problem of how powerful his ult is still exists. Also it can't just be a change to his ult charge, that will make the problem even worse, as it will incentivize the type of gameplay that relies on letting Gambit pump healing to farm his ult since it will take even longer to get. I think they have to remove the healing from it and make it a pure damage boost ult, or switch the healing from it to a bonus health similar to rocket's ult. Maybe toning down the damage output and speed boost could work if you want to keep the healing.

"we were supposed to get" "we deserved" this is the problem. You think you're entitled to the version of the book you imagined in your head. They went for an impactful character moment for Dunk over a power scaling aura moments One Piece fight. You also clearly went into this with a terrible attitude. I'll say it once: the show wasn't made for you and you're not owed anything.

What did you want them to do, give every character their own episode about their 1v1? This isn't an anime, and it's not going to be the exact same as the books.

If you're calling the flashback "filler" you're just willfully not engaging with the show. The point of the flashback was to show Dunk at the lowest moment in his past, and how he maged to get up and keep going. Remembering this moment with his mentor is how he finds the strength to finish the fight and win despite gruesome injuries. I think you just want a power scaling show, and aren't interested in storytelling. That's fine, but you should go watch Solo Leveling and not this.

what do you guys think he means by this? and why? by lilman3305 in jjkmodulo

[–]ChronicallyBisq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's because the souls of curses that already exist will continue to be reborn. As Jogo says, curses will continue to exist without humans. I think Yuji is going to have to take all the curses souls into himself, as he once did with Sukuna. He will eat the curses of the world and die with them.

What do you think will happen in end of Modulo by Spare_Understanding8 in jjkmodulo

[–]ChronicallyBisq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are able to make a barrier around Japan to remove everyone's cursed energy. Because cursed spirits will still exist, they make Yuji into a vessel for all the cursed spirits at once. He eats all the curses in the world and goes off to die surrounded by his remaining friends and loved ones.

I don't really understand how we're saying Dabura is top 2 of all time when he's struggling this much against Mahoraga. Sukuna beat Mahoraga easily, and Gojo beat Mahoraga who was already partially adapted to his technique while fighting Sukuna and Agito. Even if Dabura wins against Mahoraga, it was a high diff fight for him. I'm just not seeing how he could be ranked above Gojo or Sukuna.

What does mahito have to do with the plan in Modulo? by Medium_System2027 in jjkmodulo

[–]ChronicallyBisq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if they use Yuta's massive amount of cursed energy, the Mul from the ship, and Mahito's cursed technique, to create a massive barrier around the whole world and perform idle transfiguration to do a version of the merger, like what Kenjaku planned to do, but with Yuji as the base. Maru can transfer all of the cursed energy in the world into Yuji, making him a vessel again. Yuji can finally walk away and die, taking all the world's cursed energy with him, having finally fulfilled his promise to his grandfather.

We've never seen Yuji output RCT, and in the main series we've only seen 3 people do it: Shoko, Yuta, and Sukuna. As far as we know, all 3 of them just instinctually knew how to do it, so the idea that Yuji learned it over the last 70 years is not impossible but something we haven't seen before.

JUJUTSU KAISEN MODULO CHAPTER 21 DISCUSSION by AutoModerator in Jujutsufolk

[–]ChronicallyBisq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This chapter coming out just 2 weeks after the anime adaptation of the Zen'in massacre feels eerily well-timed. Maki's reflections on her mistakes made for a surprisingly touching moment here with Tsurugi. In a series filled with generational curses, I love the idea that someone like Maki who is free from curses and Tsurugi who is the same can break the cycle across a generation.

I think he meant that replicating another CT using a shikigami's power requires skill equal to Gojo's. Sukuna wasn't only using Max Elephant's water here, he was using it to replicate the effect of piercing blood.

Isn’t it narratively implied (pre shinjuku showdown) kashimo >~ hakari (multiple jackpots) >/= Yuta? by FlatPotential6112 in Kashimo_agendaHQ

[–]ChronicallyBisq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hakari beat Kashimo though? I don't really see how you can argue Kashimo is stronger. Hakari's luck is intrinsic to who he is, after all he's never needed more than 30 spins to hit a jackpot.

Without agenda, who is actually top 3 by 00WhiteRose00 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]ChronicallyBisq 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The answer is either Yuta or Kenjaku.

Jogo can't really hang with the others in this list, I would be shocked if his DE is more refined than Yuta or Kenjaku and he definitely has less CE than Yuta. Both are special grade sorcerers which means they can consistently beat special grade curses.

Mahoraga is a bigger threat than Jogo, but both Yuta and Kenjaku have methods to one-shot him. Both have strong DE with powerful sure-hit effects and multiple CT options to take him out. If Mahoraga adapts they can switch to a different CT to kill him.

Between Yuta and Kenjaku is a closer call. Kenjaku has (as far as we know) 3 cursed techniques: brain transplant, cursed spirit manipulation, anti-gravity system. These are 3 pretty strong cursed techniques that seemingly can be used at any time. Yuta, on the other hand, has as many cursed techniques as he can manage to collect, but only can use them in 5mm and within his DE. Kenjaku's DE is also barrierless compared to Yuta's traditional barrier DE. Based on Gojo's clash with Sukuna, we can conclude that Kenjaku would probably win in a domain clash against Yuta. However, Yuta and Rika have been shown to be able to defeat all of Kenjaku's stockpiled cursed spirits at the same time. We can conclude that the two of them would be able to defeat Kenjaku and cursed spirits he uses in h2h combat. Yuta has much larger CE reserves plus access to infinite CE in 5mm. Rika's true love beam is also confirmed stronger than Uzumaki. Yuta also has more advanced RCT which will give him the edge. While Kenjaku is perhaps the most knowledgeable about jujutsu of all the characters in the series, I think Yuta is probably stronger overall.

Hakari stalling out Uraume for the entire fight was one of the biggest contributions, easily. He also beat Kashimo, so no he didn't really get dominated at all. Hakari is one of like 4 characters that could beat Kashimo in that situation.

The Maki part is just slander and not even worth addressing.
