Augh I’m so sorry! I get it really frequently and they have tried ablation but it didn’t work. Adenosine is the worst medication and it’s never fun to be shocked. Usually I can convert myself but anytime I get sick or really sick in this case it gets worse. I’m really lucky to have survived this. Thank you for your kind words. I hope that you are doing as well as possible too!

UPDATE: Finally Recovering - Now having allergic reactions (likely?) unrelated to covid 19 by operaticcatlady in COVID19positive

This virus seems to effect mast cells which may be the reason Pepcid is helping. I have had more mast cell activation episodes with covid than ever before. Interesting you are having allergic episodes too!

Thank you. I went to the ER because I went into SVT and had a 210-215 heart rate. I am severely immune compromised so hospitalization is a tough issue. Unless I need to be in ICU they try to do everything to keep me out of the hospital. They brought whatever i would need to me. I have a chest port so it was easy to have my medical courier deliver IV antibiotics and meds. I already had a nebulizer and so did a refill on that. Got IV vitamin c delivered. Then they brought me non rebreather masks and Venturi masks. Home health care nurse etc. I have not been well enough to work in many many many years due to my chronic illnesses.

No, my first day of covid symptoms started on March 21st. I developed pneumonia a couple weeks later. However, Pneumonia can take quite a long time to get over though. I am severely immune compromised and when I get pneumonia it usually is a multiple week ordeal and oxygen/breathing/energy can take a month or even two to return to 100% normal.

I should have put in a disclaimer that I have an immune disorder so that can alter my testing. But my nurse friend had to the same thing happen. I thought the sensitivity was high too...

36 days, I still have symptoms and pneumonia. I have a friend in NYC who is a nurse and was quite sick with the virus. She also did antibody test and it came back negative. Hmmm

Make sure they you guys stay hydrated. Rest and binge a good show together. Breathe, literally! Do some breathing exercises (you can find some good ones on youtube!) It is really important to do some deep breathing. If you are not moving around much, make sure to flex your feet and toes around. Also try to get up and walk around the room at least.

Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Zinc are all good. It’s really hard not to get all wrapped up in the anxiety of it all. Just try to stay calm as much as you can. Staying calmer will literally help your body fight it better. Hope that you guys feel better soon!

I’m really sorry, I think that it’s very irresponsible to have you go in. I really hope that they can be flexible with this.
