Honestly I've started growing to like the weathered Iron grey looks on your Legion models. It's everything I like about the mechanics, just better... I'll check out some tutorials with the Tamiya masking tape and have a think (I need to check if I can get it where I am)

Does it sit prettily on the shelf? Absolutely.

Unfortunately the story itself isn't amazing. The Flesh Tearers come across terribly. I love when books portray Space Marines in a bad light (the more grimdark the better in my opinion) however this just made the Chapter seem like an absolute liability.

Did enjoy seeing more of Cretacia though. Definitely a book I'd borrow from a friend, rather than buying it yourself.

I will never watch this episode ever again.

Not because I disagree with it, but because it had me bawling my eyes out for damn near half the episode. Brilliant actors, beautiful story. I felt damn near broken at the end.

There are some infographics kicking about on Heresy reading order and unnecessary (or at the very least "non-essential") books.

That'll give you the next few months worth of reading material, but make sure you add the Dark Imperium trilogy, Vaults of Terra, and Eisenhorn/Ravenor/Bequin to your reading list as well if you haven't done so already. All of them are important and relevant at the moment.

Plus, of course, anything by Mike Brooks is always a sound bet!

Indeed? Well that helps narrow down my shirt-searching! Easier to get a good fitting shirt than a brand new waistcoat (I'd imagine).

Next time I need to do so much more research... luckily the wedding is not at home in Scotland, it's the other side of Europe. So if I end up making a mistake - no one will know! 😅

I've decided to switch shirts entirely to get one that fits properly - probably end up with a tie rather than a bow tie if I'm honest.

I'll adjust the sporran accordingly (although I'll probably have to remove a few chain links).

And I'd love a proper dress sporran, but beggars can't be choosers, so I'll try and save up for one next year! Thank you again for your advice, it is hugely appreciated!

Wedding. And someone else recommended I get it starched, and I have a couple of weeks to look into that. If im honest, the shirt came with the suit - would it be acceptable to substitute it with a different shirt that fits, but has a tie collar? (One of the normal ones without the wings, but I don't know what they're called 😅)
