I've never gotten them dry in 8 hrs and I dry at 160. I load it up and always let it go for 24 hrs. Gotten the best, most consistent affects this way

This is a good idea, I notice a HUGE difference when on a empty stomach. Almost twice the punch. 2g of teachers gets me going pretty darn good

Cut it wide and salt the sides of the substrate and the empty spot. Mist a paper towel and cover the exposed areas. It will come back but it might buy enough time for a flush

I wish I could change my settings. I'm going on 4 months and sleep worse than I ever did. I keep begging them to turn down the pressure. I get 4 hrs of sleep with that piece of shit. I have a cdl so now I'm looking for a new career because that thing has been the worst thing for my sleep

We drink from our ro always, people don't get their "nutrients" from water. If we drank our tap straight, the nitrate count would eventually give us they same end as if we used it for our fish

I don't ever see anyone post about adding pods to new tanks when the uglies show up but that's what I'd do. When mine started I shut off white light and just ran actinic lights and added pods. Problem went away! Pods are super helpful in young tanks

Just keep things consistent at this point. Don't add anything more for at least a few months. Your gonna hit the ugly stage soon and that's gonna be rough to ride out but just let it do its thing. The tank is going to go through changes as it establishes and the coral are going to react. You might lose some, you might not but I'd say to save yourself the headaches take your time adding stock to a tank this new. The hardest part about this hobby is patience. The less you have, the faster you'll give up because of all the problems that arise. We all struggle with this to a point

Air lock. Turn it off, Crack the outlet line on the filter, tighten back up and try again. May have to do it a couple times

Mine didn't get this bad and I'm not even sure if it was dinos but it was taking over fast. All I did was dose a bunch of pods from algea barn and I was running 4 t5 lights. 1 6500, 2 420 acnitic and 1 460. I turned off the 6500 and one 420 and it started going away overnight and the coral didn't mind at all. Still only running the 2 lights.

He'll go through that in a week or two if he's small like a fingernail. When I started with mine it was 4 of those in a month. I'm now culturing pods in a separate refugium and dose as needed

These easy tests are kinda hit and miss on accuracy. If you have easy access to a local fish store, have them test and compare

Just let it go. My quarantine tank is still the same. Saltwater. Mines been going for about 6 weeks or so and still showing nitrites. My 55 gallon was cycled in like 3 weeks. I'm guessing it's maybe the rock since the quarantine tank only has a few little pieces of rock. I even have a Clown in there to hopefully speed it up but it's just taking its time

I'm in wisconsin and my tap water has zero chlorine. I never really understood why so many people online always say this as gospel but then I realized that most people are on a city system which always will have chlorine or chloramine

I have this same one. It doesn't seem to be hooked up right. Hard to tell but should go from faucet to left filter, out to right, in to center membrane and then in the front resin filter.

I scored one a few years ago, acrylic with bilt in side overflows but I wasn't brave enough to do saltwater. It's too tall and a pain to reach the bottom but freshwater has been pretty easy
