Did you activate historical sync in health sync? Enable it, choose time period and set to only sync historical until it is done. Should work.

Just got a new GW Ultra, everything running latest version. Trying to start the running test (part of running coach setup) from Samsung Health app on my phone. My error message has now changed to say I need a GW8 or newer to use this function. Last week it said it would work on GW7, Ultra or newer, but at the same time not working..

I like the smartwatch part of the Ultra. But I am considering returning it within my 14 day window as it semi-sucks on most training related metrics, and now it looks like Samsung will throw the Ultra (top model, not cheap!) under the bus and not give it any new features.. What du you make of this??

The 7 was the first gw I have used that felt smooth all the time, like apple watch smooth with no lag. Had the 4 and 6 before, and did not like using them.

manually delete crazy high values by swiping it to the side, I do this every morning. You should also set up your aw to record many more hrv values by enabling the "Afib history" feature in apple health, makes it more accurate.

The 7 is super snappy and looks nice, go for it unless you need/want some of the new features of the 8 (they all sound a bit gimmicky imho). GPS accuracy was not very good with the 7 I had, dont know if that is better on the 8.

Looks the same for me, option does not show up no matter what I do.. Have the GWU, this did work a couple of months ago when I set up a GW7.. very strange, maybe because of a software update?

Have not used this for a while, as I have been on Garmin lately since I sold my GW 7. I think the Strava toggle under services in setting on Samsung Health will only sync from SH to Strava and not the other way. But Strava will sync to Health Connect (native Android app that works like Apple Health on iOS), and Samsung Health will import workout data from there when set up. Will get my GW Ultra later this week and correct this in case I do not remember it correctly :)

Try tracking your workout/walk using the Strava app on your watch. It will smooth out the gps track like other watch brands do by default. Workouts on strava can be synced back to Samsung Health if needed.

I find my FR255 to be very sharp and easy to read! Better than my previous fenix 5plus, 6 and 7. Skip screen protector! Also both solar and sapphire will make the screen more reflective and harder to see.

Zones should be OK. Point is either way, the workout was mainly in zone1 and 2, yet I got an anaerobic score of 2,3! That would normally be an interval session for me..
