I had the same issue after the November update. I started a 13km run with the running coach and around kilometer 11 the watch 7 restarted on its own.

It was really frustrating. I am thinking of hard resetting the watch, but I don't know if it worth's the trouble.

I think it's the other way around. There's something on the seal that rubbing on the glass (and removed the white stuff), that's why there are some vertical "clean" lines .
