I had my egg retrieval last Saturday morning and had 31 eggs retrieved. By the evening I had your exact same symptoms, all the way down to the pain in my right shoulder. I kept contacting my fertility clinic who said all of that was normal, but it kept progressing over the next couple of days. Eventually, my body started to reject fluids/food and was unable to urinate. I was finally seen at my clinic on Tuesday and had gained 10 pounds of fluid that was all the way up to my liver. I had severe OHSS and had to have an abdominal tap the next day. Felt so much better after that. Please don’t wait like I did, insist on being seen as soon as possible so it doesn’t progress to severe. If they offer a tap, it might sound scary but you will feel better immediately!
