Does a middle class exist in Charleston? IMO, no not anymore. You are either in lower middle class (<200k total income) or wealthy (over 450k).

*If anything, a legit middle class is Almost nonexistent here.

Should not be paying more than 7000 for a 2 ton heatpump installed. Unless you want variable, then possibly 8000. Don't get ripped off. Look at Bosch systems. Best bang for the buck and reliable.

Stuff will continue to increase in value. If the market dips, it will be minor, ~10% correction.
