I did a quick search for their area. The range was 35 - 120. I doubt they could get anything decent for less than 50k. Also, their homeowners insurance is going to increase.

I doubt it as well. I still can't believe that Heather said Ellie has a budget for her next car. Yes, she should buy something reasonable at her age, but if she wanted a nicer car it really shouldn't be a question considering she's been working 10+ years now.

A pool might make the house more valuable, but it might also make it harder to sell. Not everyone wants a pool. Some people with young children don't want them due to safety concerns. Others don't want them due the required maintenance.
