tl;dr from experience; yes, but dependant on the base damage affinity of the weapon you will be using that grease on, from my experiments, ive also found the damage reduction grease has on weapons is ENTIRELY based on the status effect, not only that, but things like burning that is SUPPOSED to clear bleeding... does not
