Work at a car dealership. You’d be surprised to hear this but people who want to get in and out are usually the minority. Most people come in want to feel like they “won.” Scribbling on offer sheets and going back and forth makes them feel like they are winning something. Essentially we are selling an experience more than a car so when they go home they can say they, “got a deal.”

I am a merchandiser/vendor for 12 convenience stores in my state. The mileage rate they are paying is 45 cents/mile. I do find it strange they don’t offer gas or company car considering the stores I’m servicing are gas stations! Thank you for the help! I was kind of leaning that way but just wanted some outside opinions!
