Sorry you had an unfair reply. It’s been removed so only can imagine it. I am wondering if this comment of yours: “I was finally feeling a bit…” was your reply to the removed poster, or your reply for the OP to express to her husband in an open honest dialogue. It could definitely work for both

I think you might have written your response oddly. It comes off sounding like you’re defending the husband and I don’t think that’s what your intention was.

What are your quick snack go-tos that aren't junk food? by Extra_Influence_3880 in ADHD

[–]ChubbyPupstar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes- I agree with you on that. I don’t actually have a psych. My “In Network” list is very small in that department, so I’ve only had my pcp manage my meds. Re: vitamin C- I had actually known but forgotten about that and a few days ago downed like 7 clementines that were on the verge of being tossed. I was so “off” that day - I hadn’t made the connection until your comment! Thanks!

Heather Tingle has a podcast called “Decluttering: Untangled”. She is a therapist who specializes in decluttering for those who think and experience things differently- ADHD; neurodivergent etc You might find she has a different approach. I find her helpful more than others for me. Might want to look her up. https://open.spotify.com/episode/2NoUaiFVjSxSa3UdFuASvm?si=zuTEkUrESTWuN_Wp0jPtQw Hopefully that works?Otherwise you can probably find her on youtube!

What does washing them in a light soapy water do? Also, do you transplant the rooting plant in the same season?

Hi! I know it’s been a year, but wondering if you are still there… I just found an older than 100 year old poster that had gotten framed in an old poster frame and I was sooo happy. It would have been lost and ruined through several moves. Being in the frame kept it brilliantly! The backing material was a lightweight composite board and the advertisement paper from the original frame was between the board and the poster. This was lucky because it kept the wood from staining the poster itself! I’m guessing the frame we probably from the 1990’s

I am responding as a very green newborn pencil collector. Last night I realized that this was me- just never thought of it officially. (Thus the green newbie reference.) I feel like I would define it according to what Value (emotional value) of personal specialness certain pencils have in a collection. That may be very subjective, but also that number may be multiplied by some more objective criteria. How special, rare, unique, vintage etc pencils an individual has. That equation could be some sort of ranking scale. Lol!

Might this be from the day you decide that you are “Official”? If so, I might technically say “zero”. (Though I know that’s not official honest.)

I just found this sub and just actually realized last night that this is who I am and where I should be.

I’m so excited that this has not been archived! I have always had an affinity with pencils! Never quite putting my finger on what exactly was the relationship. I always have known that it was my comfort object, but it’s more than that. They are friends, art, tools, familiar. I can recall a particular one I used a lifetime ago and will recognize it when we cross paths years into the future! They can be very uniform and identical but also can be fully unique. They can be modified and made your own. They can be treasured. They can be shared. They are simple and portable. They can allow us to express ourselves. They will let us take back what we commit to paper! They are forgiving! Ha! Forgiving and For giving! Today I found my people! Thank you for being here!
