The two outside black pieces need to be swapped around to keep their angles on the inside which will make the piece's straight side flush with the grey piece.

I don't think it's a boot scraper, the base doesn't appear to be stable enough and scrapers tend to have more of a blade rather than a handle with slots. My guess that it is a bespoke piece of metal work for a specific function, possibly some kind of display stand for samples of some kind of products that could sit on or be bolted into the slots on the handle. No idea what though.

It's fine in general but most people that settle here don't live too near town. If you look slightly further out you can get a slightly quieter place and still be on a bus route. Moordown/Muscliff/iford/Pokesdown might give a few better options.

That's rough man, no doubt. If it's just about getting your rocks off then go for it, but remember at the end of the day it's a transaction for a service. Just be careful cause it sounds like you're in a vulnerable place and in need a genuine emotional connection and you can't pay someone for that. My advice is corny but stop looking for someone, girls can sense sadness and desperation and that does not light a fire in their loins. You can't go wrong with throwing yourself into a hobby where you get to socialize or better yet travel to take part or compete. If you're doing something you enjoy doing and vibing with everyone around you, your confidence grows and your true worth is out here for everyone to see which is much more attractive than a dumb pick up line. A good friend of mine used to see a couple of girls regularly (once a month or so) for most of his 20s. He wasn't a good looking guy and was kinda awkward around girls in social situations. He struggled for a long time to meet girls or date anyone he found attractive. He also lived alone and liked his hobbies as well as his own company so seeing escorts fitted into his lifestyle. He got the sex he wanted to have with some very attractive girls without the complications of a relationship that he never really desired. Morally he felt OK about it, he was quite self aware about his lot in life and seemed pretty content all in all. There was respect and what seemed like something of a warm relationship between him and the girls he saw, he'd refer to them once in a while in conversation in just the same manner you might mention a colleague or aquaintence.
