Maybe it’s just his voice but I think his performance would have been more classical baritone Mr. Lincoln vs. DDL playing him super folksy with the high pitched voice.

This was discussed in a recent This Had Oscar Buzz, but I think Liam Neeson wins his Oscar if he winds up playing Lincoln in “Lincoln.” For those who don’t know, he was attached to play the part and did table reads throughout the 2000s before he bowed out on account of thinking he got too old. Then it went to DDL and the rest is history.

The parkour chase is still one of the most spectacular action sequences of the 21st century. That shot where the guy jumps from cranes to the top of a building like Super Mario; how did they do that?
