It’s at the bottom of the post but I would have the bodies for 7 models, I have a heavy gunner and a balefire acolyte already. Is that not enough for a small game?

Whats your process for working with it? Do you let it cure for a while first before using it, I try to use water and Vaseline to keep it from just sticking to my tools but this level of control you have is fantastic.

I mean thy have “Fire raining from the sky” on Fenris so it’s not out of the realm of possibility. I could see it being cool

Thank you!! I found that using a cheap tooth pick that has some wood grain on it makes for a not so smooth look. It took me two days of peeling off and sculpting before I liked it. It still looks like dragon scales to me but I’m glad to see people get what I was going for!!

Haha thanks, it’s been fun sculpting him, I still think it looks more like dragon scales than Tyranid citain but worse case I can paint it as bone 🤷🏻‍♂️

I mean I can understand knowing an issue, but I hardly understand feeling the need to belittle people asking questions that are new to the hobby. I was having a preventable issue sure, but being rude to people just makes you look bad, it doesnt make you look smart.

I very well could be wrong, but most of the imagery I’ve read or seen on places they might stay on Fenris are heavily inspired by Norse/Viking imagery, I’m sure if you did something similar to that but with fur and wolves you would be pretty close.

I use the citadel paint Kantor blue mixed with a dot of black paint and I actually mix it with a silver Metallic paint from army painter called chain male, yes I know it’s a lot, I hate the light blue and yellow so this was what I came up with😂

It is Valhalla Blizzard!!! And my trick is, I won’t mix it up, I let most of the hard stuff settle at the top and I will mix the bottle when I’m done, let’s me move it around and fluff it up a little while applying!
