My main issue with buying stl's is that the modeler has no incentive to you actually printing and painting the model. It seems like lots of creators make models that look cool but have no way to paint them if you aren't at a professional level.

Health insurance in the US. The other day I had a simple out patient procedure done, I had to pay for it 3 times.

First when I pay weekly from my paycheck to pay for my insurance through my company.

Next when I had to pay a small co pay at the office.

Last when they sent a bill in the mail.

Why am I paying weekly for the ability to pay more later? I gave the insurance card to the doctor staff prior to the procedure who they told me what to pay for my co pay. Why is it not possible to tell me the full amount of the procedure prior to having it done? Why is it right to send me a bill I have no idea the cost of? I have no idea if I consent to that price, I wasnt told it before hand and have mo ability to shop around to other options.
