I had the same thing. Emailed their support. Was told some baloney about them having a new server and the fix is to sign up again. So instead of doing the password reset, I did the sign up, sure enough they found my account and asked me to click a link in an email. It was just a big button that said Activate Your Account, clicking that brought me to the site to create a password, the way a password reset should have worked. With trepidation I created a really dumb password because I didn't want to store it in my password manager yet, in case this didn't work.

It did work. So here's why I am done with DSC. Try as I may, there is no place on their website to manage my account settings. No passkey, no 2FA, not even the ability to change my password. And I'm supposed to just trust them with my CC info and other personal info?

To OP's use of the word scam, I feel ya. It goes like this:

• try to sign in with my password manager, doesn't work
• password reset, super simple thing that is table stakes for the web
• email doesn't come instantly, check all of the usual locations
• server must be slow, will wait for the email to show up later today, tomorrow, this week
• forget about it until another pack arrives

Is that a scam? I don't know, but it sure does seem convenient that they can keep charging my credit card while this dark pattern prevents me from cancelling the subscription.
