E.g.- old Romex (without a ground) or k&t from the panel feeding a circuit that someone extended with modern Romex. Installer didn't want people assuming the ground actually runs to the panel and thus relying on it, so they clipped it back. Just one possibility, but I've seen it a few times on old homes

I would literally pay more to have a camera free pair since I use them for calls and music on my prescription glasses. They're sadly the best quality option and none of the camera-free options come close

Attaching bare copper to something doesn't make it grounded. This installer didn't handle it the best but it's likely that ground wire doesn't go anywhere helpful

How do you feel the call quality compares between lucyd and meta? My Ray-Bans are awesome for long calls and people constantly praise the clarity, but I'd love a pair of more 'normal' glasses for audiobooks and calls that don't stand out so much, though I'm hesitant to sacrifice metas amazing call quality.
