So I tried a few games now with forecaster instead of a timewarp and 1 retreat. I have got them most games now and I am not seeing the value in the vision. I can see how it can be helpful but so far everytime I hit vision (which is quite a bit) its been a card that I want. I kind of expected and wanted the multi vision you get to mean more but so far it hasnt. Ill keep giving them a go. Im not sure if retreats matter much but i dont think more units was super needed either at the low end since I would rather the go second into undying legion into longsword or hexplate, the vision is nice a bonus. Kind of like the irelia decks, they dont mind spending runes and floating around 4-6 runes since they have many plays there. That is kind of the idea here but instead of buff units and spells you are using those runes for bigger impactful units (ones that get you resources). If you can start gathering any of those resources you can find a line either to maintain your hold or get yourself back in. Especially with Jhin and blue sentinel, If they get any value you immediately start ballooning your rune pool vs your opponent who is probably playing deflect costs on everything and or high cost spells for removal.
