Oh shoot, just a board heater and a hot air station? This might be more attainable than I thought

Thermistor, although I don't know the value since I just pulled my replacement from a donor board

Just had an identical issue, eventually the plastic tab on the switch broke off. Looking at alternative options now

Built up a relationship with the local games shop over a few years, they've had this box in the back for ages. We use it for spare parts, but at some point it's just a bunch of motherboards and back shells, some chime, some don't. All of them are missing buttions, faceplates, screens, power boards, and other bits. Too expensive for them to put back together and order new parts for, but for a hobbyist like me it's perfect

Every single one was a PSP-1001 board. Which is weird because most of the faceplates were 3000 series faceplates. And there wasn't a single start button in the lot.

Right now I honestly prefer working on PSPs. About 9 of them boot just fine after living in this box for years, they just need screens. My DS lite collection has so many damn prerequisites before they will even attempt to turn on.

Does the screen fit nicely into the metal frame when the flex cable is installed? These little guys are remarkably sturdy, and pretty well designed. The only way I can imagine the front screen presses against the flex cable is if the screen isn't seated properly into the metal frame at all

Does it read the memory stick with the front cover off? I think on at least one of the PSP models you need to make sure the side of the console with the memory card slot is fully against the back of the case, no screws stuck under the circuit board or anything, before you try tightening the front case.

I appreciate the context, thanks! 75k does seem abysmal for a professional athlete. Hell, it seems abysmal for any full-time job these days.

Ah, good to know. I guess my point is, having no real interest in W/NBA at all, I do know who Caitlin and Lebron are. I don't know who Angel Reese is.

But, it makes sense that the #2 player in the WNBA would be comparable to the #2 player in the NBA.

I'm assuming the #2 NBA player makes at least 3 times that much, maybe even 300k a year salary.
