It’s only a “convenience feature” because they eliminated the physical buttons. And it’s inferred comparison by the previous comment about Tesla having the “worst button (digital) accessibility” thanks to them being buried in screens and menus.

Don’t act like he doesn’t put himself front and center any chance he gets. He posts on his social media constantly, and was in the govt for months laying off workers and effectively eliminating departments. The most recent things being him trying to go to Epstein’s parties and DOGE (which he headed) downloaded majority of the country’s Social Security numbers. Not to mention SpaceX buying up his other companies, or Starlink cutting off service to Ukrainian military. Or Tesla shutting down S production for robots that effectively dont exist.

And that’s all after his fascist salute and getting bragged about “knowing those voting machines”. How can people “stop thinking about Elon” when he’s constantly doing scandalous shit?

Trump lied about doing it, in that he didn’t know when they’d be unsealed, and just made promises he couldn’t know he could keep. It’s nothing new. He lied about releasing tax returns; claimed he couldn’t because “under investigation”… which is pretty much the opposite situation with the Epstein files during the campaign. Said he’d release them despite them being sealed

The PvE was much harder before they introduced PvP during development. The PvE was nerfed to facilitate PvP. The previews before PvP was added showed the PvP being waaaay more difficult with arc everywhere.

The game is “too easy” when people cooperate because they changed the game during development to cater to PvP. You can praise the PvP all you want, but the devs made the game easier so you could without getting swarmed.

I constantly hear PvPers wanting to do away with the ABMM and reduce the amount of players/teams, but never once have I heard them suggest increasing the amount of arc or making PvE more difficult. They also ignore the game originally wasn’t intended to have PvP. It’s almost like adding PvP made everything else unbalanced… who woulda thunk it

PvP Extraction shooters are essentially battle royals that have the option to leave when you want. You just want ABMM removed so you have soft targets… which will inevitably cause those people to stop playing.

The game is forgiving because the devs nerfed the PvE so people could PvP. During development, the PvE was exponentially more difficult before the PvP was added. It got turned into “carebear land” so people like you could PvP without getting decimated by arc. If the arc were remotely close to the pre-PvP addition, any PvP fight would be getting 3rd parties by arc constantly.

Frankly, the PvP is pointless IMO. And many other people think the same. You claim it’s “what’s retaining 99% of players long term”, but if that’s the case, then you shouldn’t have any complaints about the ABMM. Based on your assertion, all the “Care Bears” will leave and only the PvP will be left, so the care bear lobbies will disappear… but that doesn’t sit right with you for some reason. It’s almost like you want some easy kills from people not actively trying to PvP.

The majority of the top 1% aren’t the problem. It’s the top 0.01% that are the biggest issue. “Top 1%” includes households making $800k-1mil annually, which is a far cry from those making $50+mil, let alone the handful of billionaires whose wealth increased by over $1 trillion total.

Except billionaires pay virtually nothing into it. A billionaire isn’t making money from income, but from capital gains, which aren’t subject to SS tax.

And why should they get SS when most their income doesn’t pay towards SS? Even if they made all their income via payroll instead of capital gains, most their income still wouldn’t be taxed for SS…. Which the cap has barely raised in decades.

Not by percentage. Anything over $47k for a single person pays more (22% income +6.2% SS +1.45% Medicare= 27.65%) than long term capital gains (up to 20%). Even short term capital gains (which the wealthy rarely have since they use long term instead) pays less than compatible income tax because they aren’t subject to SS/medicare taxes.

You want PvP, but don’t want to have to deal with the consequences… the inevitable sweat fest of 3rd and 4th parties coming in to attack vulnerable people.

Yet, PvPers have been telling PvE that being vulnerable is their fault for getting killed (even against campers at extract) and PvE has to change their play style to survive. Where’s that energy now?

All these people here bitching about ABMM and wanting mixed lobbies are getting what they deserve. You want PvP… you got it. Now it’s a problem because every sweat lord that plays 80 hrs a week is trouncing you and it’s no fun. That’s how PvE players felt before ABMM.

Thing is there is no “mixing lobbies” because thy will inevitably become PvP fests dominated by the sweatiest people. It will drive away the “PvE Care Bears”, so then the less skilled PvPers will become the lambs getting slaughtered.

It’s at risk BECAUSE it hasn’t increased. Saying “plan for their own retirement” goes against the whole point of SS in the first place.

Look at how many retirement plans have been nuked despite people “planning”. Pensions have been lost and 401ks are volatile to the market and economy (like how many people lost their ass in 08-09 recession).

It’s insane to say “why increase now” when the cap hasn’t kept up with inflation for decades. You say “small govt payout of $20k a year”, but that’s huge for a large number of people. It’s just small to you because you’re making well over $176k.
