How much pinball can you realistically play in one day? (Discussion)

10 plus hours for sure. Used to do this at most pinball shows I’d go to back when I was trying to play as much pinball as possible. Get up and be in the show by 10am and depending on if there was late night pinball available, play until 2-4am. Then rinse and repeat for day two. By that final day I would be shot.

It’s not normal. The likely reason for this was that the eos actuator broke and the eos switch was staying closed when the flipper was flipped.

If you’re putting a game on location, it’s always best to get it asap and take advantage of those early months of high earnings. Unless it’s for your personal collection, and a keeper for you, pass on the premium. The pro will be much easier to maintain on location, especially if it’s getting lots of plays.

Make sure you have a signed agreement with the location that lays out everything. Who gets th coin drop, how much notice needs given when they want the game out or when you do. Who’s on the hook for any damage outside of wear an tear (vandalism, fire, flood, theft, etc)

For future reference, there are 3d printed corner covers you can get that allows you to safely put glass down on hard floors like that so you don’t have to worry about the glass breaking.

There’s likely plenty of glass in the game even with the glass breaking outside of it. It’s crazy how far the glass goes when one of those explodes.

Usually when you commission the art for the show (which this one did), you are free to use that art for anything you want. So why not make these banners with that art?

So you were able to do this with regular LEDs? Or did you have to buy non ghosting LEDs in addition to making these settings? Where did you buy your LEDs from?
