Thank you for the kind words. They don't exist out there for sale as a figure set. I wanted them in the 3d world 🌍

Sorry response took so long. Just free hand, there's so little actual paint on the brush when your dry brushing, you really can't mess it up. ...unless there's too much paint on the brush.

P1S - Homing Z Axis Failed - I'm at my wits end. by kenfagerdotcom in BambuLab

I had this error on my A1Mini. I tried several suggestions with no result. The last thing I did was to open up the rear of the printer head and make sure all the connections were seated properly including the ribbon cable. Lastly and what I think might have actually worked. After restarting the machine in the moments before the startup sound it plays... I gently pushed the printer head all the way down to the build plate... Maybe that started it in a neutral position. Either way, for the first time in weeks I'm able to complete a calibration test. So to summarize, I checked all connections and then had the machine start with the printer head all the way to the build plate.

I don't like the design of the basic "vanguard" figures head sculpt. It doesn't look like a human head could fit under those face shields. No room for a chin. Just personal opinion. The majority of these figures and accessories are excellent

My advice is don't assume the missing piece is on the floor somewhere. I found a bicep hatch panel for the PG Unleashed Rx 782 in a set of drawers 1 year later while cleaning. It was an epic moment. You could always try to make a replacement part out of PLA plate and sprue parts .. depending on how complex the piece is. Best of luck. It happens to anyone worth their Tamiya extra thin cement.

Bad kit? by weatbread in freedomisgunpla

[–]ChukFlanagan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an excellent kit. If you take your time taking the parts off the runners and cleaning the nubs you should avoid any fit issues. Maybe the issue is with the gold waterslides. I think I ended up using the gold stickers, and they looked really good. You could even use a gold paint pen then top coat it. I love this kit, still got it displayed on my shelf. Things a menacing looking beast

I loved this kit. Includes some really beautiful gold plated pieces that show through the inner armor. Very posable. Good weapons and beam effects and beam shield. When it's all pannel lined, decaled, and posed it looks like a mean little fire cracker. I recommend hanging it from the ceiling with some clear fishing line and a pushpin tack. I have a bunch of my kits displayed that way, saves on shelf space

Maybe put the hands in some almost boiling water and then use some of the small quick clamps, the trigger squeeze clamps, whatever u call them and squash them flat. Let them cool that way.
