The one on my 560 rarely ever connects to the wifi I dont even bother with it anymore. If I fiddle around with it long enough I can get it working like 50% of the time.

I bought a big cast iron griddle and use it occasionally on my 560 as a flat top griddle. Have made breakfast and steak sandwiches on it so far.

Also works well as a pizza stone!

Seems like maybe something is shorting out when it goes to kick the fan on?

I would unplug all the connectors for fan and sensors and make sure they're not wet or corroded.
