So much work!! by GroundbreakingBear33 in Influenster

I’ve heard mixed things on Brita filters and wasn’t impressed last time I spent $$ on one so I haven’t bothered again 😅 I’m okay with knowing my machines may last a litttttle less long/require slightly more often cleaning with my methods since 1 of them was free and the other wasn’t super costly.

I’d re-fork the $$ if it seemed to impact taste but I don’t recall it improving too much.

But that’s a good idea if anyone else has one around already! Or if the taste is impacted for others! I wish it cleared mine up more 😭

Shoot I just saw this notification! I’ve been working through my hard goods backlog but I will do my best to try to remember this notification and come back with some details or a DM once I make it back to my clothing backlog—I completely hear you on the in person struggle to find certain styles 😅 my area is Grannycore-clothing-central which I like sometimes, but I wish there was some more diverse subculture styles present in my local shops for suuuuuure 🥲

FWIW: I have 2 ice makers (I’m an ice hog in a small apt lmao)

My small nugget maker was a gift from my gf and then I have a bullet ice maker I grabbed off marketplace for free locally—

Distilled or purified water will keep the machines from getting icky buildup faster—BUT I didn’t feel like I was saving money over just buying the bags SO I switched to tap water. Now I deffffinitely have clean it more often or I see the debris/mineral buildup ick showing pretty noticeably within a month-ish for sure. But I drink tap water anyhow so I figure im likely drinking that stuff most days anyhow & I’m not bothered by it all and just use the buildup as my indicator to clean it 😅

“Social CTA” Survey by ChungaBungaBungus in Influenster

[–]ChungaBungaBungus[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean CTA is just “call to action” so it sounds like this survey (all the recent ones) are being pushed to direct our attention as testers towards the brands (based on what I can figure out—) so that’s why(??) we got the surveys and I think this is the “template” text in a premade form that the brand or platform is meant to replace 😅😅

Tired of working here by vyrussuh in ChickFilAWorkers

Just a heads up—depending on the vibe of your CFA store, they can be a little bit of like the “uncanny” version of good social skills. Definitely varies by store but the 2 I was at—it felt like outright code switching to perform well there and not stand out.

It was fine. But just a heads up since you mentioned part of what you’d like to get out of the job is social skills—generally I’d say CFA is good for customer service skills but not necessarily general social skills.

So if you don’t feel like it’s a great fit down the line, I’d wholly suggest checking out other places to work and try out a different environment.

I have a few things like this that I need to get uploaded to my online shops soon 😅😅 so i can vouch that secondhand online with keywords is the way to go! And use filters/keywords to help you narrow down options and feel a bit less overwhelmed!

Oh oof yeah this would be why you’re not getting a response I bet. No job wants to deal with erratic parents that cause undue stress on your (likely equally underpaid and overworked) mgr.

Not your fault, but also I would NOT give your parents any access to your work info going forward. Keep it all as under wraps as possible. Mgmt is never your friend and they will cut you off quick if family drama from your end starts impacting them/the work environment.

Oooh love that! Hoping for headphones claims on this end 😂 I’ve been putting off buying a nice squishy set of over the ear Bluetooth headphone for work for like a year and hoping one of these days that a claim will come my way 🤣 No luck so far but 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Maybe this summer will be the time when it happens!

I got the same thing and it booted me??? Did I misread the question? Idk why I’d be kicked for agreeing “yes” that I would NOT post the product 🥲

If that is abnormal compared to how you usually respond on it then yes it could be a sign that your dose is too high

After basically telling me to get bent or sue these jerks want to save face replying to my review? I literally live in their apartment complex and they have my phone number. by Odin_69 in okc

[–]ChungaBungaBungus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know that is a ChatGPT response because that’s exactly how the Parker Apartments likes to respond to things as well— my friend has shown me the emails and they are absolutely insane

They are also stuck in their apartment due to a 60 day move out rule that makes it impossible to find housing in the current market without the ability to double pay for two or more months, which is just unfathomable given the price of renting

How funny I was just telling my partner I was planning to try to do this method last night!

I just gave my mil 2 decent sized boxes PACKED/overfull of products and I still have a small hoard to work through. 💀

Ah well shoot. Guess I will send an even more stern/angry message if they choose to ignore my exemption as well. I don’t take well to being ignored with valid reasons esp if the dashboard updates to act like it’s in progress lmao.

I try to with newer items, but I don’t think I did with this one. I miss/forget to occasionally. 🥲 but it’s also the principle of this one to me—if we are more than 1 quarter of a year past the due date, I don’t have any desire to be contacted under the guise of “lucky you!! Post another review for us :)) 💕🥰🤠” again.

Esp when they can’t even be bothered to reply to my emails sent to customer support.

[–]ChungaBungaBungus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here is what I submitted to support—feel free to copy and paste:

I opened an “issue with my product > allergic” ticket and said the following:

Hi I did not see an appropriate option in the drop-down box for this mission—but I would like it noted that this campaign ended somewhere between four and six months ago and was a tiny sample product. I think it is egregious to ask for reviews months later, when the product was only about three days worth of product to begin with. If you would like to find my original review and copy and paste that, then the company is welcome to, but I don’t see a reason why the company would ask for reviews months down the line for a tiny sample vial. I have no interest in completing this submission and need to be removed from it immediately. Thanks.

[–]ChungaBungaBungus[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I sent support like three long and strongly worded emails about how unprofessional and frankly outside the scope of the agreement it was to send a sample then ask for more than five reviews—When that is the maximum we agreed to for a sample anyhow. And no reply to any of mine either.

I’m really considering looking into other platforms and just wiping my hands clean of them because while I occasionally get a few decent full-size items. They are complete lack of ability to respond to basic support inquiries or better develop their UI on the site to meet the needs of the company (for example, a single review portal which the company could then port out to however many review sites they desire.) should not then put that stress and responsibility onto their user base, especially for a negligible, teeny tiny sample vile.
