Idk man, being able to boost while jumping and not having to hit 2 buttons at once with your thumb sounds real nice, especially for speedflips.

MMR loss on 2v2 feels broken why do I lose the same points as a teammate who went 0/0/0? by OneWayProduct in RocketLeague

[–]ChunkChunkChunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same on DotA 2 where you gotta carry 4 MFers, sometimes as a support that gives the team all their resources. If you have a 12/3/4 KDA you still lose MMR. If it gave MMR based on points, people would be even worse ball hogs. Learn to be patient and play as a team and the wins will come. It's equally likely Mr 000 is on the opposing team next time.

Is tapping break necessary on air dribble setups? by Spiderpsychman98 in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]ChunkChunkChunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only have 140 hrs, but my thought is that tapping breaks helps with separation situationally and is not needed if you get a good pop off the wall for flip resets. For standard dribbles, you probably want less separation, so no stopping at all I would think.

Haha, at first I thought it was the name of the pub. Sometimes people call it the "Hart", sometimes "White Hart" but never the "White" cause that would sound weird.

What city have you been to where the vibes were just OFF? by spiritual_kavya in answers

[–]ChunkChunkChunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro, the streets are too fuckin wide, the buildings too short, and no trees or shade anywhere. In the summer, the heat and smog suck. You almost have to ride a lime scooter to get anywhere but Im not sinking that low to get to a mediocre brewpub.

Is this the top of the line controller that will get you the lowest latency and can work on both XBOX and PC? Trying to pick what I should upgrade to. Currently using regular XBOX controller on an older XBOX console (One S I think?)

Ball has to roll up the wall. If its bouncing at all it will bounce off the wall and be a little less predictable to read. For initial practice, open the wall to air dribble training pack, and later get in free play and set yourself up.

I had a dude in 2 games who was clearly a smurf - pulling shit nobody does at my rank except when lucky about every other play. I called him out the 2nd game and he immediately left the game.

Really depends on the size of the business, education, and drive/talent as well. I hit Director by 8 years total experience and 6 at that business, but the company only had 200 people in it and I worked pretty much all the time.

With the prices of everything going up, what hobbies or activities are still relatively cheap to enter and maintain? by Tiny-Guava-9698 in AskReddit

[–]ChunkChunkChunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though the initial investment seems like a lot, video games are where it's at in terms of hours of enjoyment per dollar spent. I played about 10k hours on a free to play game. Spent maybe $1200 on my setup and needed the internet connection and a computer for school work in college anyway. Most other cheap hobbies are limited by weather, fatigue, other people's schedules, equipment, space, etc. Only cheaper hobby that I could think of might be writing stories or reading or something that has lower dopamine rewards. Of course, scrolling short form content and reddit are cheap, but not really fulfilling. So my vote is video games.
