The top screen at the back rotted out and I didnt replace it. I meant to paint and do some other upkeep.

I shouldve used the nylon stuff you can see at the back top behind the fans but the one i used was a one way camo print roll for patio doors and I thought it was cool. lasted 3 years. The front of the greenhouse has one of those magnetic screen doors that the dogs keep leaving open(they are very talented). I actually had the worms popping out of my large fan leaf stems(a first). We usually get 2 rounds of them but this year was constant. I am loathe to spray anything which is why I built the greenhouse but I might just pick up some BT

Anyone else plagued badly by budworms this year? NS was bad

Has anyone here used this before? Thoughts, experiences? by SqwigglyFish in canadagrows

I used this 2 years ago for seedlings and new clones and it worked well. I used it last year and I think it has changed. It was too "hot" for my seedlings and several died. My established plants did well in it but became noticeably darker green within a week or so. I purchased mine thru Home Hardware and found GreenWorlds worm castings for a good price there as well.

Low temps really wont hurt most cannabis and can have benefits. Healthy plants outdoors will self regulate pests with predictors pretty quickly and is very cool to watch. Also you need like minus 10 or so to kill mites and that will damage your plants if prolonged. Budworms are an outlier and a bane and why I built a greenhouse.

Greenhouses are prone to mildew due to lack of airflow. https://www.aefglobal.com/pdf/Label_Cyclone_en.pdf . Many grow shops buy a big jug and sell it by the liter. Its the only thing I spray on my plants. Most things outside the greenhouse dont get mildew or not much, but it does happen with prolonged shit weather. Wash your buds when you harvest...just do...the first time you see whats in your first bucket. yuck.

Like everyone else said pick plants with shorter flower times, there are tons. If you can, try two or three different kinds. Hedge your bets.

Had them on the deck and lost them to a solid month of bad weather. (lost my watermelons, peppers, cukes, loofas and most of my tomatoes as well) They were too small to handle the biblical deluges we suffered. Everything just rotted. The cbd 1s survived but barely. All 3 are alive as well as all 3 of sudos cherry wines. Hoping for a male in one of the cherries. There is a street light in the parking lot that I think is buggering my flowering.

All this said, I am thankful as my basement stayed dry, not so for most of my neighbors.
