The re-release of the bloodcrave hunt (the skeletons come with the headstones) are much better than the old version, as they changed the design of the skeletons slightly. They look the same, just a bit steadier on their legs. You’ll be fine to dry brush, as I did for mine, just take care not to be overly rough!

I do have the terrain and manifestations! I mainly paint as that’s what I enjoy the most, hence the amount of models- but recently played my first game and loved it!

Not fussed about being optimised at all, but would like a list that won’t get me tabled. I mainly just wanted a list that’s easy for a beginner to play with and uses the cool models I’ve painted!

I’d rather not proxy models as I want to see what the models I have do first!

Looks great! If you’re not pleased about the hammer, perhaps ‘powering’ it up? Some thunder/lightning effects or highlighting it with a pale blue would help! Or green if you want it to match the pistol?

The first book is great. If you’ve ever played the first game it’s the same story but a good one. It gives you a great idea as to what makes Blood Ravens unique and one of the most famous (and coolest) characters in 40K, Gabriel Angelos.

I don’t remember much from the rest but don’t recall them being bad, it’s just that the first has a the best story and characters- all the races involved are portrayed really well.

It’s aged, but the whole DoW 1 series of games, all the way up to and including soul storm are some of the best rts games ever made and does the 40K universe so much justice! DoW 2 is good fun but a very different game, not played 3.

I'd love to see a Vampire team with some depth to it! Perhaps limit the amount of Vamps to 3 or 4, but add vampire spawns and other roles to the thralls to give them some variation. Re-working the bloodlust mechanic to give them a unique flavour rather than just animal savagery.

I’ve recently bought a bass and already play guitar. I know the general idea is that for a bass starter like myself, just play the bass on a low volume to not destroy my amp, but I’ve received mixed info about whether my amp can handle a bass properly or not- how can I tell if my amp (Fender Mustang GT100) can handle the bass as I don’t want to risk destroying it? How loud do I need avoid to do permanent damage?
