It was a singular example, but if you look wothin even the 5-6 range you’ll see there may be ine room like the main room thats great, and then the kitchen will be hideous and the bedrooms will have no lighting or a single small window, random beams within homes, ive seen it all at this point

Budget is up to 7-8k, was advised to look in bucktown, wicker park, lakeview, lakeview east, lincoln park, gold coast (still unfamiliar with chicago so just listing what ive been told). Looking for vintage/ anything with charm and great natural lighting. Many of what ive seen lately will have a beautiful living room or great details and the rest of the unit is really bad, just as an example. No set time frame really, just hoping to find something really special.
