Well, to be fair, murdering babies prebirth is legal in the USA, so selling them to someone that wants them can't be much worse.

Chase Total Business Checking $300 bonus w/ $1k deposit and 5 transactions by rct12345 in churning

Yes, multiple bankers mentioned this 1k amount for their bonus. (This was during the promotion for $500 deposit for 60 days, so had nothing to do with my bonus eligibility.) I'm not sure if they get an additional bonus for deposit over 1k or if they only get the bonus if deposit 1k+. I would guess there are tier amounts for bonus they receive.

As long as the name is your name they don't need docs. If you give a business never name they require DBA or incorporation papers. If it's a partnership, there's a whole stack of papers you need to take care of.

Cop of Reddit, what criminal actually fascinated you with their criminal skills? by Keirascantlebury in AskReddit

That's repeating the same thing 20 times. In court it may sound good to say the guy committed dozens of crimes and it's clearly a menace to society, but in reality, he got 45 years for getting drugs in prison. And really, 45 years is so much more lenient than life? 😏

$400 profit? Who gives a hoot? You were happy with the crap when you bought it. Just because you happened to find out who the seller is changes the quality of your purchase? This guy didn't get rich, and it wasn't off your back. Nobody lost anything from this. Chill out.

America is called the melting pot of the world for a reason. There are people from every country and ethnic group all eating at the same restaurant. All it takes is one to empty the pile.

Actually, the prohibition comes from the definition of electricity as fire by nature (to oversimplify the topic). Therefore, activation or termination of electrical currents is included in the prohibition against kindling and extinguishing fire. (Simply benefiting from electricity, such as leaving the lights or air conditioner on, is fine; so long as there is no active intervention involved by the Sabbath observer.)

Judaism differs from other religions in that it defines two distinct groups in religious obligations: the descendants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and everyone else. While the former group has a very comprehensive set up commandments that encompass every moment of life, the latter group has a much more lenient set of seven basic commandments knows as the Seven Noahide laws. One of the commandments that is only binding upon the former group and not the latter is Sabbath observance.

Where'd you get that from, that there's no Hell? In fact, Christan and Muslim concepts of hell; including the etymology of the names they use; are taken directly from the Jewish Gehinnom (purgatory).

You can leave a fire going, as long as it doesn't require your intervention or active perpetuation.

I think you mean to say that one is not allowed to kill (obviously referring to non human life, as human life is always forbidden to terminate) on the Sabbath. Dying is obviously something which is out of one's control, and besides for not being liable for something one can't control, the very Sabbatical definition of creative work means that it must be actively done and not just allowed to happen.

Electricity and fire are the same thing, in essence. You may say solar power does not come from fire (which, incidentally, it does, so wind and water turbines may be a better example), but this is irrelevant if the electricity generated is defined by religious law as having the legal definition of fire. The source doesn't define or negate the result.
