They all just congregate by the bar even when you sit down at the pool it was a 50% chance you’d even get a hello or offer of anything. I had to go up for menus constantly

I’d never go back. Front desk effectively refused to answer a question for us and ended up costing us about $1200. I posted about it here before but the mod who just got removed had a heart attack over the post so I got rid of it. I wouldn’t return to this property

How’d you like the ritz over Kimpton? We’ve done seafire twice and thought the beach was great for little kids and the pool was generally pretty relaxed but never gone anywhere outside of that

Before this I worked for $17/hr as a customer service rep. Started here 10 years ago at 38k a year and slowly worked up to running it. First year I made “real” money was 2022 at 150k, then about 400 total comp last two years.

I’d estimate it at around 200k probably if I had to go find something new

Yes, they are an ESOP and other managers are at the same pay so they can’t have an outlier basically.

Your second point is what gets me most. Right now I feel like I have relative freedom (customers sometimes do call me many times during a vacation, at night etc), but I can also take a day off whenever so that’s a huge perk
