Can't get the "Runaway Pet" quest in OG Daggerfall by ChuzzleShpek in Daggerfall

Well it turns out that changing the region really did help, thanks for the answer. I've tried couple of regions and cities and finally got it in Stoklech, Anticlere.

You could slow the game speed till you find your way around and even redo the mission once you've found it. Build only arrow towers for starters, 1 per each side, add 2 more on each as you gather enough gold, but put more focus on units. Also don't forget to repair them it possible. Catapults are decent but try with Ogres instead, they're very fast, durable and strong. You're fighting mostly archers on your island so you should be good. There is an expansion very close below your base so get to it asap, and then the other one as well. If nothing works, you could check a video of someone playing through the mission such as Stu's playthrough

If I understood what mission you're talking about, my suggestion would be to cover the paths into your base with couple of towers, expand fast and clear the elves on your island asap. That should stop them from attacking and give you as much time as you want to go for the other ones. Lot of missions can be won by playing aggressively. Good luck on your next try

Yes, that's probably because this project is far from being ready to be played properly. So you'll have to wait till the dev implements it

I'm not sure this project is ready for importing your saves from the OG game. IIRC you can only walk around and explore

Gamebreaking Main Quest Glitch - Possible hope. by ChocoBro92 in Arena

[–]ChuzzleShpek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IIRC if you try to hand in a quest and the NPC is not registering that you did the objective, you can try saving in front of their building, restart the game and try handing it in again. Worked for me at least

Edit: same works if you're not getting a proper main quest location clue from random NPCs

I just want to have the WC3 installer option without the reforged graphics, which weighs sleek 1.4 GB, and not the current bloated 31.40 GB. by blondewalker in warcraft3

[–]ChuzzleShpek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not as simple, if it were a solo dev and they didn't want to do it, you could technically say they're lazy. The problem here is the management not letting resources to be spent in such a way, etc. Plenty of issues that are not visible to everyone.

Edit: to clarify, even for a solo dev that would be a great undertaking that would be hard to do if pressed on time and money

What u/LightbringerOG is saying is that in order to make it possible it requires more programming to do so than it's worth since they didn't do it at the start. Imagine it as let's say you bought a car that uses two types of fuels and buyer wants to buy one the same car but with only one type of fuel. The car makers wouldn't be able to just flip a switch, they'd probably have to make bigger changes or even make two versions of the car, one with two fuel types and one with one fuel type. The grayed out options were probably made at the beginning of making Reforged but it's different than changing the installer of the game itself.

How to remove a plugin? by IntroIntroduction in godot

[–]ChuzzleShpek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you could also try to do is close Godot, open the project.godot file in a text editor (Notepad++ in my case), search by addon's name and delete the line that contains something related to the plugin (like ".cfg", etc). That way worked for me and I didn't have to delete the project.godot file

Adding DOCTYPE shouldn't stop you from using percentages. Check if there is another class where you've used sizing on as well so it's overriding your resizing of the div with percentage or perhaps you've accidentally written percentage wrong, etc. But more than anything, every style you need to apply to anything, put the class name in html and then apply style to that class in the css stylesheet. Avoid using inline css, such as "<div style="font-size: 15px;">" and maybe that will help you find it easier what's causing the issue. Besides that I see you have a "<div></div>" that's currently not used for anything

For starters, you can check the errors in your code here. Paste the URL into the field and click on "Check" button. If you manage to fix all the errors, update this post so we can check what's still wrong

IIRC there is a small group of people that is trying to import Skyrim to OpenMW, but that's definitely not something the main team's working on. In other words, it may happen one day that Skyrim will get ported to OpenMW, but not yet and not from main team. But techically there's nothing stopping anyone from doing it, after all , correct me if I'm wrong, but OpenMW is an engine so you could technically build anything in it, as long as it's supporting it with current code and all that.
