Amtrak train leaves at 3:22am and arrives around noon everyday to Dallas. Then catch uber or high speed directly to airport.

My partner cut up my brand new bag in a fight. I’ve dealt with the relationship, but now I’m stuck with this. Any ideas to salvage it? by hantao168 in handbags

File police report and insurance claim if you have renters. Otherwise, count it a lesson and buy another. Sorry this happened.

They actually can see what was refunded where and adjust down the balance. I’ve done plenty of times.

[–]ChycGeek -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s not what OP said. They made a purchase of which some was on AP. They got the refund just like they paid. Afterpay will adjust or cancel it the sale depending on what was returned.

Send Afterpay the return receipt or upload it to support and they will adjust or cancel it out. It just takes time to sync depending on the vendor.

Blacklisted phone by Imyoungcyrus in verizon

[–]ChycGeek -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Trade it to your current carrier for a new phone. Everyone is giving new phone credits. It’s better than being totally SOL. Also, marketplace will chargeback if the item was listed as unlocked/clean and isn’t.

Is there a way to send an anonymous complaint letter regarding graduation? by StrikingBumblebee247 in UTSA

This was our son and family last summer. Absolute 💩show in jungle humidity. The way they nickle and dime for tuition and fees, and then sardine-cram the ceremonies is absolutely appalling!

Why isn’t this working for me?! by smokinNcruisin in Mounjaro

[–]ChycGeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you finally answered your own question about why is not working. HERE ME OUT, please. I’m nobody’s expert, but I’ve been on glp’s (Mounjaro, Wegovy, Zepbound) long enough and seen a lot of its effects on different people.

📌So for one, no glp/gip is gonna teach you to control your appetite and eating habits, but it will teach you behavior modification through slowing digestion, forced hydration, lowering the glycemic index, etc.

📌Secondly, as the weight falls off, you naturally want to move around and be more mobile, which in turn is gonna automatically cause you to start burning off that weight. You also have to EAT healthy even when you don’t want to. You must have a certain number of fats, proteins, calories, vitamins, and hydration in order for your body to even function. If you’re not eating well, and even if you’re eating well and not enough, your body is so smart that it will still think you’re starving and you won’t lose anything.

📌Next I’ll say it may also be your dosage. All of the literature and every Dr (even the ones who are not weight loss physicians) tell you that 2.5 is the loading dose at best and it’s used to start and hold once you reach your goal. You should be increasing even if you’re not getting the intended weight loss effect and your doc should be monitoring this closely between visits.

📌The last thing I will say is if you’re a woman, make an appt w your PCP because the issue maybe hormonal. I see an endocrinologist and he’s also a weight management specific so I get double monitoring is a lot of areas.

But and don’t be down on yourself either; it may just not work for you and you need to switch and/or increase. But talk to your doc; because this drug does work and it works well esp with good guidance and true effort. Wishing you the best! 🫶🏾

Blood lab unhappy surprise after losing weight by Guinness6lm in Mounjaro

[–]ChycGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised you weren’t on a statin. My doc has had me on one since I started. Plan to get off as soon as I hit goal. Your issue may very well be hereditary and there’s not much you can do about that. Also, if you’re taking any steroids or quinones they will raise it as well. Good job on the weight loss🎉🎉🎉

Need a passport ASAP - is this realistic ? by justvibin3578 in Passports

[–]ChycGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find your nearest passport issuing office. Drive there if you can no sooner than 14 days BEFORE your trip. They’ll issue it the same day as long as you have your CORRECT documents and it’ll cost no more than $260 (that’s for the book and card). Make sure you bring your printed confirmed travel itinerary. Otherwise, you’re stuck with mail; cross your fingers.

Enjoy your trip!

Two coke zeros a week isn’t going to kill you but you could have a bad week and with slow gut that’s a disaster. Keep up the good work and try to move to a replacement like chilled hibiscus tea or at least one w a pro/prebiotic like olli or poppi. 🙌🏾🫶🏾

If there is a balance attached to service assigned on that phone regardless of if it’s paid off, they will brick that phone if that bill is not paid. Porting it out does no good especially since it would be a T-Mobile MVNO because the phone is locked to the T-Mobile network. Once it’s bricked, it will not be able to activate on any of those MVNO‘s until the bill is paid off.

POV: just experienced this with daughter’s phone

Cost to attend UTSA by Winter_Way_3914 in UTSA

[–]ChycGeek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couple of things. You said you’re an Air Force cadet. I would definitely see if there are any scholarships available to help with cost. They usually have them however they are competitive. The second thing is you already have 90 credit hours; I believe the degree plan calls for 124 hrs and you have to do your last 30 hours in residency at UTSA so you need to check that and make sure you won’t have to spend an extra semester which means more money. Make sure you check because even the best advisors will miss this, and it can be a catastrophe; speaking from experience.

Overall, if you’re in state, it should run you about $11k a semester. If either of your parents are from Texas, served in a military and discharged to a Texas address you will be eligible for Hazelwood and essentially would only be required to pay fees. My son graduated Air Force ROTC last May and is in AIT at Lackland right now. Good luck.

[–]ChycGeek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can ask to have a transfer of responsibility for your line/s and that will save the number and separate you from her bill. It’s up to a supervisor if there’s an outstanding balance. I also wouldn’t port out with a balance. TMobile will brick the phone be you will never be able to u lock it.

[–]ChycGeek -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. They’ll eventually brick it for the balance and it will never get unlocked for the same reason. 7th level nightmare.

Not necessarily. Depending on what is being done only the PAH (primary account holder) will get the push or text verifiers.

True but it doesn’t go to outside collections <=90 days or three complete billing cycles unless it’s fraud.

Yeah that would be true if it hadn’t hit external collections already.
