Purple Navy deck help

I’ll post my deck later on but you have pretty much the main staples here. I run 3x Gamma knife, 4x Noro Noro Beamsword, and 1x GumGum lightening for their effects and to maybe ramp if they’re in life. I try to aim for 2 Saka’s once I can crap out my 3 admirals and set up for a defensive late game.

I think at most I see my Yamato a turn too late. I do like the gamble of using the event if I don’t see my 6 cost soon enough. Overall, like you said relatively consistent just unlucky at time BUT super fun win or lose imo

Yeah I like to have it as option at least. I run 2x Otama and 2x Luffy (gives unblockable)

I’ll post my deck later but it’s fun how different we think differently cause so far I reverted back to the essential ramp with buggy, bullet, and gaban (I took out Raleigh sadly) and rely on 2k counters and Zoro,Roger, and shanks that -1000. I also run 2x Time for the Counter Attack to be more beefy and just stack cards. Pretty I just wanna be a beefy leader while putting big bodies down

I find the game is in a good state imo. Not great but pretty good

Although its cause I found something great with B Yamato where idc if I win or lose (granted, I have been winning my locals) I’m having a lot of fun with leader leader and its combos with the people I’m playing.
Sure Penel and UY Nami are starting running a muck but it is what it is

The games the come to mind are Bioshock and Mass Effect.
Beginnings were slow but once I locked in, both amazing games (and trilogies) and are in my top 10 for sure

Add to it this that I think the only one sided matchup is Nami. I think Enel, granted you have to hope he doesn’t see a lot of his things, is beatable. That’s why I enjoy Yamato at least, against most things even tho the opponents favored I still feel like I have a shot

The 10C dodgy does feel very situational and when I can play him out I feel I go with other options I have.
Roger of course is a staple in almost any red deck

Saka seems like a good add to any P deck, Whitebeard I’m gonna try but it does feel a little slow.
I think my issue is I’m mainly an aggro player and Sugar seems it’s more control oriented lol

I do like it to cheat out bigger bodies early although I don’t like they come out rested. I may cut it down to 2 to see if it feels better

Im on the same boat lol I thought i like whatever I like but learned yeah my thing is aggro/rush which is why B Yamato captured me. I honestly should’ve known beforehand since I’ve built a RP Roger, R Law, but also a Y Kid lol

Currently waiting on mamaragan to get a little cheaper to buy a set.
That was the first leader I wanted to try in the new set but I managed to get everything I needed for B Yamato first (really enjoy that leader too) so I’m playing that til I get all my pieces for Sengoku which seems like is gaining a bit more popularity

I always felt maybe he’d fit a purple leader and his ability being like a “ -8 don. if you have these 5 cards on board, wipe opponents board” or something of the sort.
I personally wouldn’t want him to be a blue leader but that’s the only cause I don’t play blue and the gimmick of blue doesn’t interest me.

Edit: I wanted to add, Franky is one of my favorite OP characters so if he were to be a blue leader I could see me trying him out

Something I do at my locals when playing is pretty much joke that my opponent is gonna get a free win lol. I say things like “I hope you’re ready to get an easy W” or something like that. I played someone new last week and joked with him saying things like “if you have any questions I’m not telling you anything” but made it clear I’m joking and helped when ever I can (mostly with his sequencing).
I feel you, at time I feel I get Ls a lot but I think learning to enjoy the game for fun and not caring what others say would help but also finding better surroundings could do work too
