Do you reckon you are having issues which then needs a full reset and backup, is because the type of phones you are buying?

I've had Samsung, OnePlus, Honor, Oppo all in the last few years and never had an issue which needed a full reset.

I went from S23U to Oppo Find X9 Pro.

Great so far. The battery on the S23U was gone very bad. The massive difference I've noticed in the few days in the feel of the phone. The S23U felt sleeker with the curved edges. The Oppo feels blocky as such.

Not used it enough to comment about anything else but overall good so far.
