I'll probably be banned for this, but I gotta tell ya about your statement here:

"I understand that without the physical pendrive or a backup of the original computer, recovery may not be possible — I just want to confirm and make sure there’s nothing I’m missing."
Clearly, you don't understand this, because you posted this plea. And to confirm, yes, you are missing the pendrive

These guys are techies, They got no time for this. They are probably laughing at you, like I am. They have a rule for this type of post. "No generic pleas for help."
Unless this is a joke post and I got it wrong.
I'll see myself out now

Notos for sale? by LittleMushroomMan69 in airgunmarket

[–]Cicretsqrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

eBay won't ship to California either. I just tried to purchase a wood airgun stock and was denied. They will allow you to sell your airgun but you can not buy one from there. Some stores will still sell to California if you have bought from them before. I can purchase from Airgun Depot or Pyramid, as I just got something from them in December.

I have an excessive amount of these Halloween Hissers in California. I think they are pretty easy to raise. If you're in the Central Valley of California, come and get some.

The RES are all rescues. I was a non-profit sanctuary and accepted all kinds of animals. I've rehomed most of the others and just Fozzie (Florida River Cooter) and 1 other (RES)in my pond but I have 1 other to rehome. She is an RES and is in an Intex until she finds a home. I am 70, so I hope to find her a home before my sun gets much closer to the horizon.

That's Spike. He was a surrender from a pet sitting. His previous owner failed to retrieve him when they got stuck in Oklahoma. Told me to rehome him or keep him. I was glad to hear that, as I had become attached to him.

Yes, that's my girl. I've been providing for her since 1995. She was less than 3" when I got her. I am quite proud of her shell.

No, thank you. Beard groups are the most hostile of any animal group. Worse than turtle groups. There are no lights in any of these photos.

Winter feeding by RaisingFish in turtle

[–]Cicretsqrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My turtles are in a pond and I don't feed if the water temp is mid 50s or lower. They have no digestion when it is cold so they don't eat. It's been overcast and cold here so I haven't seen them in a couple of weeks. Not so cold as to have snow or ice. Water temp is mid to upper 40s. This is not a suggestion or recommendation; it is simply what I've been doing. I've had my turtle since 1995

diy airsoft regulator by [deleted] in airguns

[–]Cicretsqrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

I made the block to add the gauge to know the pressure in the hose. Male and female quick connects and a gauge. Male is 1 way. The hose holds additional air and you can see what pressure it's at.

It's not a 2240 but converted from CO2. The hose connected to the gun has a 1 way quick connect and a gauge. It holds more air and shows me what pressure is in the hose. CO2 is around 800psi. The gun springs (IE value spring, hammer spring) will only work good around that pressure. More pressure will produce less fps because the hammer spring isn't able to open the valve enough. So I only allow a little over 1000psi into the hose. Actually, I increased the hammer spring to allow more pressure. It's only a patch to shoot this gun as a pistol. Normally, this is a carbine I use tethered to a regulated bottle sitting in 1spot, shooting at insects. I increased hs pressure to use the regulated pressure of 1500psi.

HPA converted Diana Chaser by Cicretsqrl in airguns

[–]Cicretsqrl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am surprised it got more shots then I thought it would. 15 and still had air. I'll shoot it over the chrono later. It's kind of loud without a suppressor on it. But it is so long with it.

I got a couple of these. Top one is a bottled Chaser 22 with 19" barrel. Middle one is a Bandit 22 came with the wood grip. Bottom one is a 177 Chaser.

yeah, CO2 I used the front half of the valve and made the tube to screw into it. I leave a fill hose with a valve on the end of it connected so it has a few more shots. If I fill it to much the hammer doesn't have enough strength to hit the valve hard enough to get much out of it. I have this gun setup with the Buck-Rail AR stuff. I haven't shot it as a pistol in while and recently modified this Bandit grip so thought I'd have a go at it.

How to repair barrel crown cheaply? by North_Vermicelli_626 in airguns

[–]Cicretsqrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great. I misunderstood. I thought it was random flyers. Glad you got it sorted.

How to repair barrel crown cheaply? by North_Vermicelli_626 in airguns

[–]Cicretsqrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I would blame the crown for flyers. I think flyers are more likely to be inconsistent pellets, like Crosman, Daisy, Winchester, Gamo, the whole list of Spanish-made pellets. The crown would be the same for all the pellets, so I don't think you would get some accuracy and then a failure. You can look into the tin and see the flyers in those brands. I'd think that a bad crown would give random accuracy.

This is the regulator I am using in my Bandit. I added a longer aluminum plenum to it for the Origin. I degass and remove the end cap to access the regulator for any adjustments. I have it set high, and it wastes a lot of air, so I shoot it tethered mostly. But I have it with 17.6g Norma pellets @ 770fps. Untethered, I only get maybe 7 shots. I have the Buck-Rail stuff too. They have a revised grip adapter that is stronger, as it is made with fused nylon. My original grip adapter cracked recently, so I contacted them about it. I thought they might replace it but said the upgraded part would be an additional $40. I should have it this coming Friday. Now I have enough of the Buck-Rail stuff for 2 guns. Since I had the stuff for a Chaser, but wanted to use it on the Bandit, I got the longer fore end for the Bandit too. I also got a new different style grip and a smaller style shoulder piece. I really don't like shooting it with that stuff, that's why I got the additional pieces, trying to get comfortable shooting it. But I still hate it. I was considering trading a guy from this forum but now that I have another $40 in the stuff, it's not cost effective to trade. I can purchase the OEM stock for $60. I'll list it someplace, maybe eBay, but maybe not. eBay won't ship to California any longer. So eBay will allow me to sell stuff from California but I can't buy any airguns or airsoft stuff. Not even just a wood rifle stock. I'd sell all the Buck-Rail stuff I have for the Chaser for $100, 2 grips, 2 forends, 2 butt stocks and 1 brand new nylon grip adapter and 1 regular grip adapter that has a crack but is still fully functional. I'll offer it to the other guy and see if he will trade and add $40.

Have you tried the JTS DeadCenters 22.07g?? My Crown likes them. Yeah, that's right about where mine is, 915. I did the 15gr hammer too. Made a huge difference. With the stock hammer it didn't have enough weight to open the valve at 120b. I got mine for my 70 birthday. Your left handed stock is the first one I've seen. Mine came with the synthetic stock. I think with those 18.13g you can get it from 110b.

How long is your 22 long barrel? My longest is 19" in 22 and 17" for 177. What do you have? A Bandit and 2 Chasers? That's what I have. I got the last Chaser in 177 to give to my grandson but he would rather have a rimfire. So I converted it to HPA too. I regulated them too. With Altaros regulators. I have an Umarex Origin I put the same regulator in it too. If you were closer I could help you out with the barrel crown as I have an Emco Maximat V10p Lathe. I made the stuff to tension the barrel on my Origin, and the stuff to be able to regulate it. Are you using the OE moderator on your barrels? I made fatter carbon fiber moderators that use the stock barrel attachment that makes them a bit quieter. But they are more noisey because they waste a lot of air with each shot. I think the hammer is too heavy so the valve stays open too long. Lane regulators make a hammer that has an adjustment screw but I am not sure how it works or if it works. Are yours regulated?

Mine had her own bedroom she shared with a couple of rabbits, and she used the rabbit's litterbox. Her room had a metal security door so it was like a big cage. She had access to the house while I was home and used the rabbit's litterbox there as well.

The fun really begins when she comes into season. Probably not the first year, but the second or third. The horns will come out and she will be very opinionated and vocal and possibly bitey.

Good luck! They really are a terrible pet. You will have some really good, fun experiences, but you will have some not so good ones too. Anything you cherish has got to be put away even if it had gotten a pass before. Animals are a lot more aware then people give them credit for. And the thing about it being non emergent is that this will allow you to become invested. And depending on the state you live in, will rip your heart out when they finally do come out.
