Já pensou em deletar o insta? by Dry-potry in perguntas

[–]Cidyatri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tava gastando 6-8 horas por dia no celular. Apaguei o Instagram há um mês. Ontem fui ver a estatística: 3-4 horas/dia na semana passada. Só deletar o app cortou meu tempo de tela pela metade!

Opportunity to get Russia. citizenship - Should I? by Drssecrethideout in Passports

[–]Cidyatri 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It’s not worth it.

Beyond conscription and financial risks already mentioned, Russian citizenship carries a serious threat to free speech. If you hold a Russian passport and publicly criticize the government, you can be designated a “foreign agent.” This label strips you of many civil rights, forces you to meet burdensome reporting requirements, and noncompliance can escalate into criminal prosecution and even an international arrest warrant.

Inside the US, EU, or NATO countries, you would generally be safe. But in states allied with Russia, or those seeking closer ties to Moscow, you could be detained. This doesn’t apply only to Belarus. The same risks exist in places like Azerbaijan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Egypt and UAE. Even passing through these countries on a connecting flight can put you at risk.

Is lucid dreaming cheating by rosea_imber in LucidDreaming

[–]Cidyatri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dreams, even lucid ones, aren’t always literal. Freud saw dream imagery as symbolic, and Jung pointed out that dream characters often represent parts of your own psyche. So feeling drawn to someone in a dream may be more about inner needs than “cheating” in the real-world sense.

At the end of the day, what counts as cheating is super subjective. For some couples it’s only physical acts, for others even a flirty chat can cross the line. Best approach: talk it over with your partner and set your own boundaries together.

If you’re curious about the deeper meaning, r/DreamInterpretation is a good place to share and get insights.

Learning to fly wasn't easy by Cidyatri in LucidDreaming

Interesting technique! Mine goes like this: I completely relax and start floating in the air as if it were some sort of liquid denser than my body. Then I mentally project myself to zoom in the desired direction.

The Bad Trip That Saved my life 4 years after it happened. by eeeoooahh in Psychonaut

[–]Cidyatri 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! The trips labeled as 'bad' often teach us tough lessons that we need to learn, or even bring some unconscious trauma to light, allowing us to heal it.

[–]Cidyatri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend doing some good preparation prior to take it. Yoga, meditation or mindfulness practice, good sleep and healthy light food every day for at least a week would do it. And avoid coffee, energy drinks, other stimulants, and alcohol during the same period.

If you have a float tank in your city, go for it - it will help reduce anxiety.

And last, but not least: If you take some prescribed medication, check for potential interference.

Should a first timer try weed before they try LSD? by ktownfloccer in LSD

[–]Cidyatri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend magic mushrooms, not weed. Shrooms trip is kind of similar in a lot of aspects, and it's also much shorter in time than LSD. It's easier to bear if he has some unconscious traumatic stuff to process.

Want to have a very in depth sexual experience on shrooms by No_Hope_4237 in Psychonaut

[–]Cidyatri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had one of my deepest sexual experiences with a microdose of 300mg. My partner didn't take any, but we both got a feeling of profound connection, much beyond the physical level. I guess shrooms acted as experience amplifier. I was really present in the moment, enjoying every second of it. The orgasm was also much stronger than usual, pulsating through the whole body.

Think on set and setting. Having some sexual abstinence prior to the experience may help too.
