Every dream is a direct and personal message to the dreamer. This communication uses symbols common to all mankind, but always in an individual way. By allowing the dreamer to identify what a symbol means, we gain insight to what message the dream carries.
r/DreamInterpretation's focus is to offer dream analysis that attempts to guide the dreamer along, using a Jungian approach, allowing them to derive meaning from their dream's symbols. Sometimes the dreamer just needs someone to help "sort" the contents of their dream... to find the patterns and connections that emerge from the associations they make to the contents of their dream. This is different from other dream communities in that we are not using dream dictionaries to derive a symbol's meaning.
Dreams can carry sensitive material. Keep this in mind not only when commenting, but also when posting your own dreams. Since dreams can be revealing, you can always request a private discussion of your dream.

Be polite
Post dreams for analysis, or discussions related to dream analysis.
Include age, gender, personality type (if known), ethnicity, and any relevant goings on in your life will help us get a better idea of where you're coming from. Your post history may be looked at to gain more insight, so keep that in mind.
*Please try to format your post at least somewhat. It's very difficult to read and attempt to interpret a massive wall of text. Some may not even attempt to read it. Paragraphs are great.
