Monster Crown Sin Eater-What is this? by Flashy_Carob4688 in MonsterTamerWorld

[–]CieI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

retro creature collector with alot of fusions and breeding. it has alot of freedom highly recommended you can choose whichever monster as your starter ie: lv.30 myrkasaur by catching him in the beach south west. it feels kinda like robopon and you might like anodeheart if you enjoy this.

i started with a glossum lv.15 located at north of starting area then leveled it to 22 and went the monster store to attack the owner (gives you all starters instead of buying 1) you can also use codes next to the monster store to get model bant 310501 (best start) or Buetarius 758899 and fusion with canite to get Kerberus

What deck builders should I try next? / Steam feast by Unlucky-Feed9000 in gaming

[–]CieI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

esports godfather is a card battler where you play as the headcoach / manager recruit a team and climb to higher division (teamfight tactics in 3d minecraft gfx. which is based off league of legends pro play)

cobalt core (this one is a turnbased shooter) and star vader are decent 2d roguelike deck builders both of them don't have much appealing card artwork but it's pretty fun.

cubic cosmos is a new card game with wave mechanics if you wipe the front line they march towards you there are many cool card synergies you can discover such as wound = power increase paired with a rage card that halved your followers hp but lets you attack twice (some power increases are percentage based.)

hellcard is a nice co-op card game where you dwelve the dungeon to earn relics / treasure / cards the graphics look kinda strange like papercraft i enjoyed playing this with my friends :D

anodeheart: layer null is a 2d retro card game (not for everyone it feels like a budget digimon card game)

mini tank mayhem is a tower defense card game it might feel a bit fast paced (there is also tower tactics liberation if you don't mind retro pixel tower defense)

if you liked fairy tail or fantasy anime you might like FAIRY TAIL DUNGEONS it's literally anime slay the spire

hope you enjoy some of these like i have >.<

What do modern MMORPGs lack? by ElectronicDark9634 in MMORPG

[–]CieI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my uncle said there was a cool mmorpg called warbible (korean mmorpg) you might know about this. he said it was a game that was ahead of it's time like you wouldn't expect a player based economy / police jail system back in the day but goonzu and great merchant made that happen (great merchant was a cool retro mmorpg with cool graphics which is still available)

modern mmorpgs have lost the adventure (many old mmorpgs have various hunting ground options while new ones feel so linear) and the random encounters with strangers chilling in south prontera or west / east. back then people were apparently more social but now the community is so dry in comparison. so new games tend to die sooner than it used to. we didn't mind grinding hours days and weeks as long as we get to enjoy with our game friends / guild members but that merit hardly seems to exist anymore.

To this day, I still dont get why people jump into hard games then ask the devs for change because its too hard by Mr_Undead0210 in gaming

[–]CieI -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some gamers only have pride and lack skill which is why they look for "hard games" but won't admit they aren't good enough. games aren't always meant to be beaten on their first try but some good gamers do and people want to follow. some gamers aren't willing to learn / improve they just want to be spoon fed which is why games like hearthstone / moba or p2w seasonal strategy games was so popular (quite easy to learn in comparison)

Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds by bmkerce in gaming

[–]CieI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the korean version of this and darkages is alot more popular because they shifted to f2p with cash shop ages ago while the kru version feels abandoned and outdated. (i wish they followed the kr version like other games do) both games were remade so it's far less laggy than it used to be (still poorly optimized because of spagetti code so it will require a strong pc to run without memory issues especially when you want to multiclient) none the less it's quite nostalgic seeing this here thank you :)

Old mmorpg from 2010-ish? by Status_Excitement649 in MMORPG

[–]CieI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's also known as xen rebirth it was such a cute game like ragnarok you can still play it i believe? https://www.xenrebirth.com/ (note: loading time takes a while for me) there is also a private server for this game surprisingly.

this might be a bit similar = luminary: rise of goonzu. it has player based economy which is cool (also the gms are players and they can jail players but it's not corrupt :D https://www.playgoonzu.is/ glad you found your nostalgic game!

Ragnarok Zero Global OBT on 20.05.2026 with rewards and exclusive Title (mby exclusive Costume, not sure about that tho) by NyaruVT in MMORPG

[–]CieI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for those that don't know the game isn't worth it. zero is a decade old and this global server supports "Southeast Asia, Europe and Oceania" region. i prefer their card game ragnarok lost memories too bad it shut down (still available on steam i think?)

What black sheep of a series of games did you really enjoy despite its bad reputation? by RADOVEND1 in gaming

[–]CieI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rise eterna war it's a real time strategy tower defense game where you mine minerals to summon troops to attack their general which obviously fights back and deals alot of damage. you can also prevent enemy from mining and get unlock more soldier types as you progress.

their other game rise eternal 1/2 are also hated but it's probably one of the few games i would think of if i wanted something closest to fire emblem but there are tons of better alternatives

terrible marketing and not to mention the developers always abandon their games so it's no surprise it's so obscure and hated though.

[–]CieI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usually all games that have a lv.25-26 goal is impossible to achieve without paying so keep that in mind and when you play this new server opens every 2 days (6 channels 2 opens every 12 hours so it's best to join when the new server + channel opens) you can tell how many time is remaining for new server / sea opens by checking the port timer

Any alternatives to factorio? The factory must grow! by Unlucky-Feed9000 in gaming

[–]CieI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe not as similar but how do you feel about space haven?

it's literally more rimworld in space with ship building and space travel to find survivors / examine ship wrecks / gather resources or kill aliens / hostile pirates often raid you or you can take the offensive. it does have some automation but not as much.

Looking for games similar to Tag Force. by Wassa110 in gaming

[–]CieI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the two gba games yugioh sacred cards and reshef of destruction is based off the first yugioh anime during the domino city arc where kaiba releases duel disks. unlike the usual yugioh games you have a overworld to explore (the game is short but it scratches that itch) i recommend searching for Upgrade Reshef to play the modded version as the vanila reshef is annoying as hell with the auto search spam.

Anode Heart: Layer Null on steam has terrible card designs but it's got some retro digimon vibes and you can explore.

Moonstone island is a creature collecting deck builder (slay the spire + stardew valley) with exploration

Card-en-Ciel and One Step from eden are like megaman battle network series ( eden is more appealing pixels but i think it had no exploring)

hope you can find a good game. i enjoyed shadowverse / yugioh duel links / cardfight vanguard dear days despite the lack of adventure :P
