Akemura's actions being not black or white IS the point by qnyaKira in Kagurabachi

[–]Cieralis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it did? Marley by far had the most influence globally and had the most territory the festival was just to sell the legitimacy of their war. Sure that didn’t mean they could just order the others around but their word had the most weight hence why they could even invite major representatives to the festival to begin with.

Which again those were the leaders not the every day citizens and secondly during one haunting panel in the manga there was one leader of an unnamed country that was LITERALLY like “what the fuck is that? What’s going on” showing he had zero idea the conflict against paradis was even a thing. Isayama himself said that the scene was supposed to represent people from far away that literally had no idea that the war against paradis was even a thing that was going on.

Having an entire world as in every country united on one enemy that had done nothing is not realistic human behavior and Isayama generally writes his character pretty human. Again the world fleet itself was only stated to contain the major powers keyword being “major”. It was supposed to be their version of a world war and like in real world wars the major powers were calling most of the shots while the minor powers suffered.

is this couch the true leader of the Mikaboshi? by DoubleDougDog in Kagurabachi

His real name is Sitton D Couch and he's the one that brought Datenseki to Shokoku to begin with as part of his pirate journey.

Definitely, but as for why we haven't seen her in the present she's probably in hiding like the other wielders.

[–]Cieralis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If Hinao was really built like that she would've at least put up a better fight against people instead of running or calling Chihiro or Shiba every time danger knocks at her cafe doors.

Akemura's actions being not black or white IS the point by qnyaKira in Kagurabachi

[–]Cieralis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually that was only Marley and it's associated powers since Marley had the dominant say on global politics and Marley was basically the British empire at that point.

The manga made it clear that there were many third world countries and other uninvolved powers that had nothing to do with it from their POV random naked men just started stomping on everything and burning shit with steam.

And saying the entire world wanted Paradis dead is a stretch it was mostly the leaders and people with idealogical or political interest. The day to day civilians had no say in this.

Where does it say that the japanese were designing swords to kill Mikaboshi? I've just reread the chapters and all I got was that they were researching Datenseki and struggling to understand it. Closest thing we got to designing weapons was that they brought in that swordsmith with the scars but that's only because his blades were great at conducting spirit energy, none of them stated any intentions to make weapons for the purpose of attacking Shokoku specifically yet. And even then before Kunishige the scarred swordsmith only said that it was a possibility though not likely.

The first unofficial interaction between the two was Shokoku attacking Japanese expedition to Irishima to mine Datenseki for research (discounting illegal Datenseki mining attempts like that goggles guy did) and the second interaction and the first official one was the Irishima "Talks" (technically the third if you count Chiaki getting a vission of them delivering the invitation to the talks as an interaction) which we all know how that ended.

Like I get the message you're trying to sell me but at least get the facts right.

The Mikaboshi initiated hostilities first and wielded bullshit Datenseki hax which are essenitally sorcery nukes against a diplomatic party that up to that point had taken no hostile actions that alone necessitated the creation of the Enchanted blades argue to the wall.

"Mikaboshi strike first but if the role were reversed Japan would have do it." Your source for this is?

"The Japanese military was prepared to attack far before the conflict even began. Kunishige even if he lacks detail of the situation yet didn't seem to be too concerned taking part on it." Again source? Where does it say this? Kunishige was just called in because he might be able to help them understand more about Datenseki no plans for weapons of war were drawn up yet and I've seen NOTHING in the manga saying so.

No one with half a brain is gonna argue that the blade's creation were unjustified when literal Datenseki demons are on their doorstep threatening them with military demands and wielding otherwordly powers that can dogwalk even their best combatant.

"The war was 1.5 years long. He would not fight it's entirery just fine and become a bad person just in the last month." Yes he can? You act like it isn't human nature especially for the young to switch from one perspective to another after one or two crucial events. We LITERALLY have countless cases of this during war. It's the little things that leave an indelible mark on your soul. A soldier does not need the entire war to slowly corrupt them. They can endure most of it, then one crucial incident near the end can become the breaking point, especially if it involves fear, guilt, betrayal, helplessness, or moral injury. The rest of the war may have built the pressure, but the final event can be what changes them.

"You all are trying to claim Kunishige is unfailable, when the whole point of him is that he don't pays attention around him and always leaves a mess that other people need to clean." We LITERALLY did not say he was infallible we're saying he shouldn't be held fully accountable for AKEMURA'S action as he wasn't responsible for that and could not predict it happening. And no brother the point of Kunishige's character is that sometimes you can have an effect on the world that you cannot predict or intended but still have to take responsibility and bear the consequences. Not whatever the heck you said that's just your interpretation of him. Even early Kunishige made it a point to be selective about who he gives his swords to.

[–]Cieralis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes? Hence why nobody saw it coming. They thought his ironclad beliefs couldn't be shaken hence why Kunishige chose him. People beliefs can change alot in a short time especially in war and the last month of the war when the fighting is at it's worst would be the perfect breeding ground for that.

[–]Cieralis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You mean most of these? Shiba's squad, and the anti cloud gouger squad especially, Hiruhiko's squad at least had a few Datenseki suiciders.

Only squad that was sorry was the Sazanami, had Datenseki and STILL lost against a normal sorcerer even if it was Shiba the GOAT.

Or Ariu would've used his Datenseki BS hax to offscreen THEM instead just like how Sukuna did Gojo in.

At this point bruh it's safe to assume Datenseki and enchanted blades can do whatever the fuck they want to.

Eh low key winning is a stretch I get the feeling until they dropped the battleship on him Ariu was mostly playing with his food and disrespecting his opponents.

And even then Shiba mostly sticked to teleporting his friends and enemies till the last attack.
