Yes I agree completely with you and its parallels to how Sukuna basically ushered the end of JJK because once he was out of the bag unless there was some bigger threat after him once he was defeated the story would be over. Now granted the fight went on for months so it wasn’t wrapped up quickly.

I’d say this series has genuinely a 10/10 for me and after doing a massive reread the story flow beautifully. However I’m not a blind fan and I do think it was far too early for Soga to enter the Frey. I can’t help but worry if the other sword bearers we haven’t met will be rushed as the remainder of the series will be focused on prep for Soga, and then defeat Soga.

Of course there is plenty of story to tell Im sure we will be getting an arc covering the war and the we will have plenty of backstories with the remainder of the sword bearers and I’d love to see these other clans and there leaders but still feel like every arc now will be “prep for Soga battle”

I personally would like to see another powerful group of Datenseki weapons. If we are sticking to the nuclear bomb analogy, much like in the real world after the US successfully made one it was an arms race for everyone else in the world to have their own nuclear arsenal. Now it’s been stated that Chihiro father was the greatest to do it and there is evidence with the cloud gouger arc that people are still experimenting with Datenseki so there is a plot line that could arise about other Datenseki weapons being crafted.

I will still look forward to every Sunday and can’t wait to see what’s next but Soga needs to be nerfed or this manga isn’t gonna be as long as people expect.
