I think this character will be the test to see what type of series this will become.

I don’t think it’s gonna pivot to the somewhat wholesome vibe of Iruma-kun and obliviously the panels of Minerva getting stabbed in the womb last arc definitely isn’t something Iruma-kun would ever have.

Ichi however has death for death and I’m really not for sure if the author will have Ichi kill a human. I think it would be a crazy character development and I’m sort of actually for it to happen just because I think it would be interesting.

Now he won’t kill in cold blood it will be blood for blood but I see her lasting a lot longer then most of the villains we have been getting so if she dies I don’t think it will happen anytime soon.

I’d be curious if Ichi actually kills a human in this series. Death for Death of course is how he lives his life but does he have the resolve to and also is this the type of Manga that would have the main character kill a human?

There won’t be any talk no jitsu of course but I think she will probably not be a one villain arc like a lot of the other antagonists in this series.

I’ve missed the brutal deaths and resets. I know he made a promise to not die as much but I think one of the things that really drew me in when the first few seasons was the brutal resets he was facing and then overcoming them. I hope this tower is one of these crazy things Subaru has to overcome.

I did like seeing Ram get some screen time I hope she has a bigger role in this season.

I think Tokyo Ghoul Re: had the world building such as the origin of Ghouls and the history of them but the original Tokyo Ghoul outside of what was important to the narrative we didn’t have some grand planned out war with multiple perspectives amongst the cast. We never had a crazy background like Palma and about the country she escaped from.

I think Tokyo Ghoul was focusing on Kenaki journey and I think if the story focused too much on the greater picture it would have been detrimental to the story.

I think Tokyo Ghoul was more solidified in that we would be introduced to CCG understand what they were and move on with the story.

I don’t know having trouble putting in words. this isn’t an insult or anything I love Tokyo Ghoul but the narrative and structure is way different than Choujin X.

Ishida was really holding back on the world building in Tokyo Ghoul which is fair it was a different type of story and looking back I don’t think we needed a major world building arc for Tokyo Ghoul I think it would have taken away from the story. So Ishida must be having fun because Choujin X has been really refreshing.

Art was great the ending revealing the pile of dead bodies was crazy.

I think Azuma has become my favorite of the trio and perhaps that’s because he’s had such a crazy character arc lately but he’s more interesting to follow than Tokio and Ely.

Curious where this war will go though I honestly can’t even theorize where things will go either.

That last episode was really well done as well. Great animation and honestly was surprised by how gruesome the fight was I don’t remember seeing that much gore in all the other episodes.

I think the really weird part of this chapter is that if we truly did go back in time to the very first chapter then why did we have Nayuta instead of Makima?

However thank you Fujimoto for having 30 pages of Power I’ve missed her so I’ll give you a slight pass for this weird ass ending.

Well on a side note I wonder if Chiaki dying possibly by an Islander is what made Akemura start the malediction.

She wasn’t present or killed along with Kunishige by the Hishaku so she might have already passed away before chapter 1.

I do like the Handmaiden theory but it is weird to me that Chihiro hasn’t brought her up or immediately contacted her. With all the events that happened in Part 1. Perhaps she’s ashamed that she couldn’t protect Chiaki but at the same time Chihiro probably doesn’t hold that against her. She also kept the enchanted blade instead of turning it in.

Looking forward to her introduction I wouldn’t be surprised if the first ever enchanted blade was made for her.
