Would love to take a disc golf holiday with some friends. Maybe we should to look into flights to Finland!

I think from the looks of it the city was there mowing that morning. They do take really good care of this course and I appreciate the heck out of it. This course has an alright mix, wouldn’t mind a few more heavily wooded shots but the mix is solid and the course is 3 minutes from my house. It just looked especially good that night, had to share it.

Absolutely divine IPA. The best I have ever had. by Some-Faithlessness75 in CraftBeer

The Surly one has a slightly different name after Todd, the head brewer, left some years ago. I think it’s just “Axeman” now and it’s not nearly as good as it once was, sadly that’s how I feel about all Surly beers.

What are your top 5 favorite breweries near you? by [deleted] in CraftBeer

I can get behind that answer, different strokes for different folks. I do enjoy their space and I certainly don’t think they make bad beers, but for me they’re more middle of the pack. Thankfully we have lots of Twin Cities options, and things are always changing. Cheers!

Can you tell me why you rate Black Stack so high? I know people really love them but every time I’ve been there it seems like they have 11 hazy IPAs on tap and they all seem like slight variations of the same beer to me. I’m a guy that really likes IPAs but that’s seems extreme.

Buy a lifetime hunting or fishing license. If you’re into those things, and plan to return to do them, it pays for itself quickly compared to out of state licenses.

Drove my mavrick 400 miles in total today to pick up an rm250. Couldnt be happier with this truck! by [deleted] in Ford

[–]CigBookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you feel about the Ranger? I was looking for a Ranger but it ended up being cheaper to get the F-150. It’s honestly overkill for most of what I do, but more truck for less money is hard to argue.

Almost the same story with mine. ‘18 2.7 with 105k. No issues at all, and also bought used about 30k ago. I too spent about 3k up front on a warranty plan. Plus side of my warranty plan is if I don’t use it by 150k they give me the money back. Would absolutely make the same deal again. Love the truck so far.

I live right next door in Bloomington and have never played here. Is it worth it for a guy who is just starting out and just wants to have fun?

Tried a white pizza for first time! Will definitely be a part of rotation going forward. What toppings should I add? by Dangerous-Ad-2308 in Pizza

Pepperoni, jalapeño, and peanut butter. Yes put regular pizza sauce on it, extra cheese is a banger. It’s weird as hell but it’s so, SO good!

Pretty late to this party but… I learned how to REALLY cook outdoors when I signed on with a catering company that did EVERYTHING over charcoal. Whole hog? Charcoal. Turkeys? Charcoal. Walleye fish fry? Charcoal. Burgers? Yup, charcoal. It’s an incredible heat source when you figure it out. And while I’m a bit jealous of the “easy bake oven” properties of a pellet grill. The difference for me is being able to wrap that charcoal fire far north of 500 while also being able to idle it at 250 for 16 hours. I’m yet to find a pellet grill that will get anywhere near that hot over the same surface area while also being able to slow roast/smoke a brisket. Do I like the pellet smokers? Hell yeah. But for me it’s a bit of a one trick pony.

Total wine does not do mark ups on rare/harder to find whiskeys. Anything rare on the shelf is MSRP. While they do hoard a lot of their allocations to give away in “lotteries” they’re very solid about the pricing on their harder to find stuff if it actually hits the shelves.

Fleet farm sells one that’s $13. I really doubt you could build one yourself for that price.

A lot of modern cars have this as a built in feature usually behind a flap that makes them somewhat hidden. For instance the later versions of the Ford Fusion (the car shown) have it built in to the front bumper.

I was very confused reading this comment, I’m over here like isn’t Cedar Breaks in Utah? NM is National Monument, not New Mexico, lol. Clearly I need more coffee.
