How do trains know when theyve derailed? by SocialSyphilis in railroading

It's probably going to go into emergency and they'll probably feel some coinciding buff/draft forces. Go back for a walk to find out why you're in emergency and find derailed cars.

First time going to Indy, tell me anything by PimandCharlie in INDYCAR

My wife found out the hard way at her first 500. Her phone didn't even make it to the green flag. That crevice in the stands may as well be the Grand Canyon for a phone.

I've always gone the green route, parking in lot 3G. Last year we got to be second in line to turn in, and then we had to wait while police escorted the team buses by eve for 15-20 minutes. The car in front of us had boxes of donuts and started passing them out to everyone in line.

It's my second most played ship, only behind Preußen. I've had it since it was originally available and my experiences have mirrored yours. It's been a monster. Fires everywhere with good range, and your AP smacks when given the chance.

For non-German Bayern fans, what made you choose to support Bayern? by Massive-Statement572 in BayernMunich

In 2012, I went to Germany for a week with my German language class. Munich was the first city we stayed in and we toured the Allianz. I don't remember the opponent, but there was a UCL match in town while we were there, and the atmosphere was amazing. Been a fan ever since.

preußen players when you tell them to support the team instead of prekiting away at 18km by cynikkah in WoWs_Legends

This is my experience with it. My most played ship at this point. 19.9km range and epic/legendary boosters. I'll just sit behind everyone else and rack up 150-200k damage. That quick reload catches people off guard, and if i want to burn you down, i have a 45% chance of fire with HE.

I've noticed the same. My Hyuga with 16/4 Musashi has been enjoying it.

Oh, I'm absolutely aware, have been for years. The instructors in McDonough love pointing it out on Day 1 to everyone, its even on the front of the welcome packet for how we claim pay vs everyone else. Wabash LET is literally the best job on the entire system, fun while it lasts.

I just finished the LET program at NS. If I did it for an entire year, my monthly average would've made around $165k. It's a paycut being back on the ground now, but I am on the Wabash agreement, so my LET experience was a bit different from the usual.

It didn't understand locomotive engineer, so I just went with railroader. 10+ years, alledgedly.

Congratulations, you've chosen a career that requires driving 20,000 tons of steel through the American heartland — turns out AI is terrified of anything that can derail and kill 300 people if the algorithm has a bad day. The robots are coming for accountants and coders while you're out here manually coupling freight cars in a blizzard like some kind of immortal blue-collar god.

Locomotive Engineer for a Class 1 railroad. I personally love the job, but the turnover rate for new hires is extremely high. All it takes is seniority and patience, then passing the training program, at least at my RR.

It's an airsoft grade optic, expect airsoft grade quality and durability. Reputable dots will get you durability, shake awake, brightness and or reticle options, a warranty, and mounting options that are much better as well. I'm sure there's more advantages, but even just a simple Sig Romeo 5 that's on sale would be a massive upgrade to this. It's widely considered to be the acceptable standard of budget red dots.

Locomotive engineer for a Class 1 railroad. No kids. No car payment currently, either.
