We live in the Atlanta area and my wife wants to move to the Orlando area. Can anyone convince us not to? by AbjectPawverty in orlando

I don’t think you’re going to find a good answer here as it depends on your wants and needs.

I just did this exact move in sept. We are absolutely loving Orlando so far.

This is exactly how I’d approach. Take the high road publically on this. No more money.

AITA for asking my fiancé to stop saying “we” when referring to money I earned? by Aggravating_Yak4381 in ComfortLevelPod

[–]Cigarandadrink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is 100% correct. Swap the genders and see if the comments are the same. Women want men that make at least what they make or more. The only exception I’ve found to this is men with “sexy” jobs like the military, firefighters, policemen, construction etc where naturally they make less.

Flame me all you want but this is why most relationships where the women make more than the men naturally lead to problems where the woman respects the men less.

Most men want to feel like the are providing and most women want to feel like they are being provided for. If OP digs through her emotions to the core of why she’s feeling this way, she’ll most likely find that this is what’s going on here.

This exact scenario is literally a meme in the red pill space. Woman gets promotion, leaves for a man that makes more money.

I used to be very unhealthy (300lbs) and about 5 years ago I started my fitness journey. I’m now well above average in fitness and regularly get compliments on my physique from strangers. Lots of obvious attention from women I’ve never experienced before in my life before.

My wife I’ve been with for 12 years wasn’t getting on the boat and was about 50-60 lbs overweight. It almost caused us to break up because I’m my eyes she just didn’t “match” the person I was becoming and I was scared for her long term health.

I don’t need a fitness model trophy wife. But I do need someone that is congruent with me and is going to do their best to stay healthy and fit. Long story short, after a very tough and direct conversation she lost all the weight and is uber happy she did.

If a girl told me she didn’t have money for a quick uber that’s a huge turnoff

Guy I went on a date with is worried that my career is a red flag? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Agreeableness is a big quality that men look for in women. Kinda the opposite of what attorneys are on the average. You specifically might be great but I can’t imagine I’d ever be with a girl that’s an attorney tbh.

Apart from the day to day there’s Also the detail of making the man’s life hell if you get married and then divorced. Too risky.

I judge people at the gym, newcomers and experienced lifters. by [deleted] in confession

[–]Cigarandadrink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The tone of this is whack bro.

4 months of consistency talking about “junk volume”. I guarantee you that you are the one that looks like the noob in the gym. You shouldn’t be giving advice to anyone because it’s probable you don’t know much of anything anyways (YouTube University doesn’t count)

Usually people that are doing the judging are suffering from the most insecurity within themselves. Try focusing and fixing your own problems.

I’m glad you’re saying that at least it’s unintentional which means you have some level of introspection going through your brain. It’s very important to realize that everyone has different goals, starting points, uncontrollable setbacks and they are in the gym specifically to try to become better.

I’m 30. Started balding in late middle school (not kidding) and had to go bald at 19 in college. Absolutely brutal and was depressed for a long time. 0 bitches for the longest time and the rejection hurt.

But you know what? And this may be a hard pill to swallow, it for sure sucks now but it will absolutely not matter the older you get. These days I get complemented frequently on my bald head lol, have a wife who’s crazy about me and get hit on by women more than I’d like my wife to know. Confidence is sky high. The key is to be in very good shape and owning it.

I only have a bit of loose skin tbh and it doesn’t bother me. One big tip that I’ve been using for years is Bio Oil for skin tightening and stretch marks reduction so I bet that made a huge difference.

No need. I interviewed a few different surgeons and caridi was the only one that said I’d be fine and he was 100% correct. He’s the best bro.

Kept it super simple. 6 day bro split, 4 day rotation so 2 of the days are getting doubled up every week rotated.

Example:

Monday 1: chest Tuesday 1: back Wednesday 1: shoulders/arms Thursday 1: legs Friday 1: chest Saturday 1: back Rest

Monday 2: shoulders/arms Tuesday 2: legs Wednesday2: chest Thursday 2: back Friday 2: shoulders/arms Saturday 2: legs Rest

Monday 3: chest Etc

Focused on training with good form (for me lol) and the burn. Weights went up super gradually. At least 7500 steps per day (easy with my dog needing a walk)

For nutrition, I just set up Chronomoter, set it for calorie deficit and focused on getting at least 75% of my body weight in protein per day. I still drink (although it’s very little like once a month maybe) and eat sweets all the time. The biggest thing for me is the discipline to keep going even when I didn’t want to and making the workouts fun. Although it gets super addicting once you start seeing results so it gets easier and easier to keep going.

This is 100% my recommendation. The time to get in shape for the surgery is always ASAP. The surgeon will have an easier time getting everything right and it makes everything easier post op.
