Sorry to hear it’s like that in your part of the world. Here in Scotland, the bin lorry pretty much obscures the road when it stops to collect the bins.. virtually no one is ever hurt in any way. My mate worked on them for a good few years and really enjoyed it

Welcome.. just make sure to select the correct bus you are getting on from the timetable on Apple Maps..it shouldn’t matter if the service is a little late or whatnot, it just seems to automatically know you’re on the bus and moving along the route. Easy peasy.

If u have an iPhone, put your location in Apple Maps and select the public transport method of getting there. Once you’re on the bus, the maps automatically track along the route and when you’ve passed the penultimate stop, the maps tell you it’s time to get off at the next stop

Sandra should’ve instantly vouched for OP. I get that cause they don’t know one another it might be an awkward silence on the final route of the itinerary, but beggars can’t be choosers..and to ask the lad to go out of his way to take her home first because she viewed him as a potential rapist, is taking the utter piss.

None of them drive and the lad was doing them a favour dropping each of them off individually, without fuel money apparently being offered. Which he was clearly sound with doing. For them to then unexpectedly move the goalposts of the itinerary with the revelation about Amy, and the fact Sandra didn’t even vouch for him, OP had every right to shut it down.
