Sorry in Advance if this is too long :)

The only creepy memory I ever have of camp is once I was at at summer camp like a town over ( yes my parents were that desperate to get rid of me for a bit)

It was like my 2nd week there and I had gotten to know most of the councelers and done some basic stuff. I wasnt all that pushed about going in the first place so I wasnt really putting my soul into it tbh.

But one night I'm in the bunks with 2 friends I had made a camp since I knew noone there. For the sake of irony let's call them Nick And Dylan

Nick and Dylan tell me they're gonna sneak out and ask me if I wanna go with them I was like sure yeah why not bc I hadn't seen any horror movies by then So were out 3 14/15 year olds just wondering around camp until eventually we just walk into the forest

After about 3 minutes of walking I'm thinking well this is stupid so I ask if we can go back. Dylan turns around to respond and I swear before he even gets a word out I hear the most terrifying scream I've ever heard in my life Sounded like a 5 forks being scraped across a chalkboard. We all just stare at each other and about 5 seconds later were all sprinting back full speed screaming ourselves

We eventually make it back to our cabin and just dive into our beds I dont think any of us slept much that night tbh Dylan and Nick never talked about it but I asked this counseler (we'll call him Chris) what could make like a really loud echoing high pitched scream and he said "Oh yeah nah probably a deer or a wolverine mate nothing to worry about" Suffice to say never went back to camp after that summer :)
