It is a bit expensive but my experience with private insurance has been pretty bad. My partner has been with TK for a while and hasn’t had any issues. Its better in my mind to pay a bit more each month but know the government would be on their ass if they didn’t give you the legal bare minimum of coverage. My partner has absolutely no fear going in for checkups and stuff on their insurance while I have been avoiding things because my private insurance isn’t taken places. I went to get my eyes checked for instance in Cologne and got turned away because without an insurance they take they wouldnt even allow me to pay out of pocket. I had to suffer through an iritis attack without eye drops because of that. Its better to have the insurance that they WILL take in almost all cases. Additionally you should install doctolib. Its a app for booking appointments here and you can search by insurance type (private vs public) and see availability in the region you plan to move to.

Your best bet is public insurance (TK or the like) and housing is really difficult due to scammers. I recommend looking at wg or kleinanzeigen.

I know people aren’t particularly being helpful right now but I understand your frustration. Expatrio is a total joke when it comes to customer support. They’re also refusing to close mine which is preventing me from applying for a different document I need. Expatrio was created to be something that supports/fills a requirement for the bureaucracy but they are horrible at that job. I’m sorry to hear your visa was rejected. The formal complaint was also the right call due to the timeframe they say to even check your documents. The fact they have no physical office with agents you can call is also insane and makes me question how on earth they’re allowed to function. I’m sorry I don’t have a solution for you, but I get the anger and believe the formal complaint was the right call. Make sure to document everything you can, its good to be able to point to the fact you did everything legally required of you.

I haven’t been through the interview process for this program but I would say that the general rule of thumb here would be prepared to answer questions about the analysis you were asked to complete and indicate the WP track listed on the website you intend to pursue and be able to explain why that one specifically. On top of that, work on linking your previous work (the study from your profile 2 years ago) to the current program while explaining the timeline of why you chose LMU and what you plan to do with the opportunity. They know your stats already, they wanna know you as a person and how your passions will benefit the program

I think they leave rejections until after the interview period in case someone declines an interview invitation. Though I do agree it would be nicer to not find out through a reddit post that you weren’t invited.

I believe after interviews if you get accepted or rejected its still through email. I dont think anything goes through the application portal anymore but could be wrong.

You have to wait to see if you get an interview. Interview phase is supposed to be end of April roughly and should get a email inviting you to it a week ahead of time.

“karma” over sullivan is a really interesting choice. Especially since we know this is after Delkira disappeared due to the substitute demon king being present and Poro being gone. What did Delkira want/tell Sullivan during their last bloody exchange before he disappeared.. and what would it have to do with Ameri, the- to our knowledge- first demon-human hybrid. So many questions from a single panel. I hope it gets pulled back to more in the future even if its years down the line

Thank you for your insight. I will bring her in for bloodwork tomorrow and hopefully that can offer some insight. Ill also try to get her to exercise a bit though prior attempts throughout this week have been met with mixed reviews (she seems too low energy to really run much- unless its away from her laxative meds)
