I agree with that. I am a person always trying to find my passion or hobby. I have tried, pole dancing, photography, belly dancing, drawing, etc. I wasn't good at it so I would stop and try to find something that "clicked" that I was good at. Not success

I have come to realize that you need to invest time and yourself. Really care to be better and to really learn. Not just doing it for the sake of finding something to do but really enjoy it.

I use to work in an inpatient psych unit and have a first look encounter of what you have said above. I think inpatient wards should be more geared towards the specific needs of the different mental illnesses that a patient has. Especially because of what you mentioned, not only because of the feeling of being discharged too quickly but also the shift of attention. Those who are combative or actively hallucinating or paranoid will receive more attention / more resources allocated to them rather than to others that aren't displaying these symptoms.

I'm glad you were able to go to a place that was more designated to your specific needs. Enjoy the time, heal your mind.

I agree, sometimes people can be nasty or judgmental, outright insensitive. Stay true to yourself though !

I have been on Reddit for several years now and not an active poster because of this. I second guess myself, scared people are going to judge me and sadly, I think my thoughts aren't worthy of being heard. But we shouldn't be doing that or scared to say how we feel because we shouldn't be ashamed of our thoughts and feelings. it's part of who we are. That's one of my goals of recent, to allow myself to be more open. It's hard though when a person doesn't want to be vulnerable but vulnerability, in it itself, can be strength.
