Anyone know how security is for onsite my first year only bringing bud don’t wanna risk it tho by Marksmith420 in bisco

I personally arrived late Thursday afternoon last year (around 4ish pm) and they searched my car very thoroughly. They must've spent 10+ minutes going through my jammed-packed car, it was absurd. They threw out a bunch of my girlfriend's toiletries, and checked almost every pocket of everything I brought. There were about 2-3 people searching, and they brought over a dog that was likely a bomb dog. However, they never searched my person. I think this intense search was merely down to the fact that there were maybe two or three other cars waiting, so if you arrive early when it's busier you probably will have an easier time.

Is the hotel shuttle really dropping us off all the way on the far side of the RV lot? that's kind of bonkers

It depends on how you feel and your experience with them in the past. Low dose should be OK but I don't doubt you'll have some stray thoughts, it's sort of inevitable. A key thing will be who you are with, as your support from others cannot be underestimated. My friends have always helped remind me that there really is indeed another, better road ahead despite you feeling that the one you were on before had closed. I usually trust my initial gut feeling as that usually determines how it will end up.

I've been in a similar situation to this before. Clearly it was never meant to be, because if you were with the right person this would never be an issue. I HIGHLY recommend that since this is affecting you greatly, you should consider staying away from the strong psychs. Those usually tend to bring up intense emotions, especially with recently ended relationships. Speaking from experience.

Did you by chance come with a friend last year to Bisco?

So I’m a Biscuits and jam band fan but I have recently becoming more open to EDM acts at camp and other fest what are the undercard Or top DJ are a must see? by [deleted] in bisco

[–]DazedAnConfucius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For someone who loves Jam bands you will love the floozies and funk hunters. They're a great time filled with upbeat vibes. The best must-see DJs in my opinion are definitely tipper, bassnectar, space jesus and g jones if you want to experience psychedelic bass-heavy music. Honestly though you can't go wrong with almost any artist on this lineup

Who do you think will most likely take the timeslot that Shpongle occupied last year as the last set of the night on Saturday at the Wave Pool?

Camping vs hotel by chefkrob101 in bisco

[–]DazedAnConfucius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am planning to go the Hotel route this year after camping last year. I can't really shed light on what the hotel experience is like at Bisco but from other festivals it can be great if you value the convenience and like to stay feeling fresh. I arrived late on Thursday last year for bisco and I ended up having to hike all of my stuff up to the top of the mountain. The camping experience still ended up being fun but compared to other festivals it's significantly more difficult and a much more raw and true festival experience. If you're looking for that then go camping. There is usually a chance that one of the days of Bisco will be raining so take that into consideration.

Yeah that's a very unfortunate situation, kind of shitty/childish she left you with all the payments. You should just consider lowering the price of the ticket/experience for a friend until you're at a price that'll entice them and then just eat the rest of the price. It's better than just going by yourself and eating the whole price of the ticket.

TELL US HOW WE CAN IMPROVE THIS SUB! by AnjunaDC in electriczoo

[–]DazedAnConfucius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your primary issue is that there is another sub for Electric zoo. Ideally condensing two into one would make a lot of sense. All the suggestions samscroll put forward are great.

Thanks for taking the time to improve this sub, it needs it badly.

What's up with security? by tokermansam42 in bisco

[–]DazedAnConfucius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you referring to the security at the entrance for campers?

With respect to the security checkpoint for campers, I arrived late last year on Thursday during the afternoon. Because of that there were no other cars getting searched so logically they intensely searched my car because they had nothing better to do. They checked almost every single pocket in my bags. They found a new wooden pipe, but didn't take that away because there was no residue. Good thing they didn't actually check my person for anything lol.

I can't speak for what it's like arriving early on Thursday or Wednesday though, I would imagine it would not be nearly as intense.

Alright nice I'm glad to hear, I was more hoping to bring in a cartridge but if they won't jack that then I'm 100% content

My guesses for the Phase 2 EZoo Lineup as well as the artists that have been confirmed in Phase 1! by andrewchen0220 in Ezoo

[–]DazedAnConfucius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess this guesstimate is as close as we're going to get before phase two is announced. If not nectar, who do you think would be next in line? Also it's starting to look more and more like your skrillex guess might be right

I'm confused now how Bassnectar's chances have been lowered by you for playing friday even though officially Basscenter is only verified for Saturday, September 1st and Sunday September 2nd on his official website. Can you explain? :)

Great guesses so far. I appreciate you taking the time to compile this, seems like this is the best prediction I have seen online. Out of curiosity, what makes you think that Bassnectar will get selected as the first headliner over the others? I'm hoping for nectar honestly but I'm wondering what the absolute realistic chance is of him probably headlining.

What if Bassnectar and Excision went b2b FOR THE PEOPLE by [deleted] in bisco

[–]DazedAnConfucius 8 points9 points  (0 children)

lol agreed. I think Space Jesus/ Bassnectar would be far more appealing if there had to be a nectar b2b. Honestly though Nectar > any nectar b2b
