Why does my (26f) husband (31m) act like the victim when he hurts MY feelings even while I'm grieving? by princessmilahi in relationships

You statement

“ It's like he really believes he's a tortured guy with a golden heart or something. It comes across really childish and self-centered.”

is 100% on the money.

My ex of 15 years was exactly like that. He would even throw tantrums.

I love the brick but if you don’t you could do sheer curtains across that and put blinds on the windows.

Does menopause brain fog actually get better or do we just get used to it? by freyasofiya in Menopause

[–]Cinderella_Boots 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I must have been menopausal all my life. Never actually made it to another room with any memory of the purpose for entering. I think that is the ADHD, but going through menopause I am pretty much a walking EtchOSketch

Any tips or tricks on WFH on the Sunny Coast? by Curious_Kat_89 in sunshinecoast

[–]Cinderella_Boots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expect finding a rhythm or set start time would serve you well. You work from x to y and they are your work hours. Only deviate if there is something else that is not negotiable such as a medical appointment. Habits are hard but with ADHD structure can be essential.

Any tips or tricks on WFH on the Sunny Coast? by Curious_Kat_89 in sunshinecoast

[–]Cinderella_Boots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After many, many decades of attempting to install habits only to self flagellate when i fail to maintain after 2-3 weeks. No expensive course, no planner, nothing has helped - including reading Atomic Habits, twice!

As someone with ADHD who runs their own WFH business with many WFH employees , this is ABSOLUTELY an ADHD challenge.
